I think its hard to compare. While I personally think Hitler was worse, thats just my view... its really difficult and unfair to compare any two people and say they are the same or one's worse etc.
What matters is Bush is one of the worst presidents we've had, and needs to be kicked out of office and soon! Then we need to figure out how to fix the country.
As for the Executive Order thing, i wouldn't put it past him at all. it looks like that's exactly what he's doing. And if he does, I hope that will get people to revolt.

 

And what is all this solving? For god's sake you're arguing over Wikipedia and comparisons and technicalities and petty little details. Chill out; this is why there is war and this is what Bush wants; for us all to turn against each other.

There is this need to pretend that it is unprecedented in history for Presidents to try to wrestle more power for themselves, and that this therefore means we are on a slippery slope towards fascism and tyranny. There is always a three way tug of war between the President, the Congress, and the Supreme Court. Look at Nixon, for example. As bad as he was, was he the beginning of the end? No, he wasn't the beginning of anything. He was just a bad President.

Furthermore, you can't help contradicting yourself. You complain about illegal wiretaps and then complain about a government controlled media. But who revealed the wiretaps? The media. Do you really think you can have it both ways?

I can't think of anything. However, I fail to see how this makes him worse than Hitler.

I think the problem is that i do know what fascism is, and it ain't Bush. It really cheapens the reality of the Holocaust, of Stalinism, or the cultural revoltion to say that the pale in comparison with Bush's what... wiretapping of overseas phone calls, which were reported in a free press and tested in the courts by civil liberties groups?
