Today, swim was called down to the principals office, and was accused of selling drugs. At first swim thought that was a proposterous claim to make, as swim doesnt usually sell drugs at school. Then he shows swim a printout of a message between a fellow student and swim conversing about 2c-t-2 and the effects, and somewhere in the message, price was mentioned. The principal claimed that an angry parent brought it to his attention. But if an angry parent found that message, they would most likely call the cops, and not leave it in the hands of someone who obviously cant do anything about it, other than turn it over to the police, which he did. So everything that swim had related to any kind of drug, was moved to an undisclosed location. Apparently the principal also informed the Central Michigan Enforcement Team of the conversation, and he warned swim the he was being watched. The message was easily identifiable and swim knew immediately who had turned it in... swim cant do anything about it because swim is 18. but from what swim hears, its going to be taken care of. complete bullshit. OH, btw, swim will prolly be off the forums for a bit, just to lay low. Swim has cleared all emails, deleted the myspace, cleaned temporary internet files, cookies, etc. Any other precautions you think swim should take to cover his ass?

thats what the principal said, was that it was the kids parents. but the kid is a known snitch i guess (didnt find out til after the matter) but i was irate as fuck, and still am, seeing as how i cant follow through on the "snitches get stiches" clause of the drug trade handbook.

If you are worried they will seize your computer download DBAN (dereks boot and nuke) and wipe your hard drive (it will erase everything on it to the extent that not even a computer forensics lab can recover it, so back up your important files). Another option is to encrypt your entire hard drive with truecrypt, and refuse to give up a password if they try and make you (in usa anyways). Doing a combination of the two might help. You probably don't have much to worry about in terms of them going directly to your ISP to see what websites you connect to, but using Tor will prevent this from happening. sucks you got fucked.

Yeah it wipes everything. Makes your hard drive essentially brand new from the perspective of data on it. He is trying to pursue it because he prob thinks you are hustling designer drugs to school kids lol. just encrypt with truecrypt then I guess you don't need to wipe before you do it. And truecrypt wipes don't delete your files they just go over them with multiple keys.
This whole situation with your friend and your principal scares the shit out of my friend. He's going to be more careful.
