buying a house

if you were gonna buy a house that is within an hour to an at least semi-nice, semi-quiet beach.. (closer the better)... in a town of city that is not too conservative and has things to do but isnt too busy...

that HAS jobs but isnt too expensive...

where would you look?

preferable... below delaware (i already know places there and dont want it any colder then that), north of florida and on the east coast

 

so far im looking at the carolinas... around the outer banks- i like it there but not sure about the job market
