I know if you had a pipe they could smell the residue but could a dog smell like, a gravity bottle without the cap? can they only smell the plant or can it smell the smoke?

The bottle will have trace amounts of residue.

I have a pet Beagle and if there is a small fire she will try to put it out by kicking dirt on the flames.

so there is resin from the smoke that gets all inside....you really couldnt figure that out, think of a normal bowl and how resin gets in it

If the dog isn't trained, NO. The dog can smell it of course, but it will give little concern to the smell. It can smell both, but again, if it isn't trained to pay attention to that specific smell then it wont give even one shit about the smell.

dogs will be alerted to whatever they are trained for...i often wonder how many people get popped by just being around a drug dog by fluke

They can. I got my dog high once. Now everytime I;m smokin in my room at night n he smells it he will start scratchin at my door or start barking. I don't even know how the fuck he smells it. I cover it up and don't let any get out of my room. But everytime I toke up , he's there at the door. An he's never at the door until I smoke. Lately I just bring him in my room because he barked once at like 2 am when I was smoking. I thought I was gunna get caught by the rents. I think he likes being high .... scratch that... I KNOW he likes being high hahaha

    i don't think that's what he's asking...

if a drug dog is trained to smell the actual weed, would he still be alarmed by the smell of the residue on the bottle.

    i believe that's what he's asking,
