Can lsd be hair tested for?

The cost of doing the full test that includes testing for LSD is $2500 and just testing for LSD is &275 total from this company. I imagine that those costs are about average.
so ask yourself why you are being tested and by whom.
why are they doing a hair test, that is the most expensive type.

Hair testing can go back about 6 months, depending on how long the sample is, and they can use hair from any part of your body, your head gives the longest history due to the rate of growth.

If someone is testing you for everything you may have trouble.
If it is just the standard 5 panel which most employers use then you are probably safe, as long as you haven't been using anything that the 5 panel tests for.
So why are you being tested anyway, that may give an indication of how extensive they may be.

Found this googling.

Its a written published book, so I give it a little more credit than a internet source. It says yes, it can be tested for, but you must have a steady habit for it to show.

It also states that in theory, it has an unlimited detection period. It depends how long your hair is.

But from what I gather LSD tests are very uncommon unless the tester has prior suspicion. And LSD hair tests are almost unheard of.

For your information AAA, as in fix my car on the freeway, perform a full panel hair follicle test on ALL applicants regardless of position. Got that straight from one of thier HR recruiters in an interview last year.

The longer your hair is the further back they can test.

But they only need about 1/2-1 inch at most to test for the last six months.

basically, anything that you dose in the 250ug range can't possibly be tested for.
most psychedelics are at too low of dosages to be tested for.
