I know you can make canabutter but is it possible to make it with margarine or anything that doesn't have animal fat?
i havent read the ingreidiants, but id figure that i cant believe its not butter doesnt have animal anything in it.
anything that has oil or fat in it will do. any type of margarine or butter will work. however. since the oil is waht absorbs the drugs, low fat butter/margarine, will not get you very hihg, and will waste some of the drugs by simply not absorbing them when you heat up teh weed in the butter. id say try to jsut use plain, cheap, block unsweetened butter.
You can use any oil... just heat up the weed in it. One thing a friend of mine made was some salad dressing. It was ground weed cooked in virgin olive oil. Then the rest of the herbs were added and some vinegar. That stuff rocked. He made it as part of a fun little event we had (which food has the weed in it). The object was to cook something and see if the people could guess before they ate it what had weed in it, after they ate some of everything, and so on. Of course, everyone was told with plenty of time to consume as much as they desired. The dressing blew my socks off -- well I don't wear socks but still. So yeah... you can use anything that is a fat. There are hundreds of foods that you can add weed to. The possibilities are endless.
I made some shwag butter b4, but I suppose it would work with more potent potables. ratio= 1oz(green matter) : 1lb butter(/margerine sub.) it is VERY important not to heat it past 110 degrees or you will only be making green butter with little/no effects. i used an ounce ground up fine and slowly simmered in it, but I made ghee, since ingesting a load of butter OR margerine isn't really healthy. to make ghee-> b4 adding greenery, boil the butter(not sure if this works with marg.) until you see the lactic solids seperate(they will gloop to the bottom and sit there like nasty looking blobs) then simmer until the liquid turns clear and all the fine solids turn into a film on top. Takes about an hour for the whole shebang. Then scrape off the film and filter the liquid through some of that paper stuff that filters real well, not too well because it will take hours with a coffee filter (I tell you from experience, takes FORever). Now you have ghee, or clarified butter which is healthy! and then ... Make It Green. have a green day, originalsacrament
