    HAHAHAAHa.

ROFL. IronGoth claimed that the Supreme Court was exercising Judicial Activism.

NO ONE HAS EVER SAID THAT ABOUT THE CANADIAN COURTS!!!!! LMFAO!

And one of the biggest problems of media coverage of this election was due to cross-bodering intrusion.

I keep thinking you aren't real. You should PM me.

EDIT: Socrates, is spelt as such.

one thing to remeber, this will be another minortity government, so the conservatices wont be able to push though some of the more extreem agendas. but as a gun enthusiast, im just happy the liberals are being given the boot.

i stand as moderate myself. basicly i dont like any of the parties. I flipped a coin over ndp and conservative and went with it...ndp that is

All the reasons people voted for Conservatives for were just so... wrong.

GST cuts? Yeah.. 4 billion and replaced by 5 billion in other taxes. That's just great. "Choice in child care"? Yeah, because a hundred measely bucks a month really gives you a "choice" when daycare is at least 500 a month. Fiscal responsibility? We've never done so well fiscally and every time the Cons have been in, we've gone into debt. Not to mention Mr. Harper's comment on Abortion and not bringing it back up: "Well, never is a long time.." he said.

No other party will probobly support GST cuts (or at least the NDP won't).

Yes the Conservatives are socially conservative now, but they still aren't a boogyman. I dind't vote for them because I don't think their budget will balance among a few other things. Hell it doesn't even really matter who I vote for here cept who I wanna give my buck 75 to each year.

The conservatives still won't represent the west proporly cause now they will be focused on keeping ontario and quebec happy. We need effin proportional representation...bloddy electoral reform that will never happen

I wish the bloody PC with clarke...

    The Cons don't want Quebec.
    The Bloc don't want Canada.

I think it's possible that they join.

You need a fair share Quebec and Ontario to win, hence why they get more representation and attention, hence why Alberta feels alienated...

Hence Quebec gave the Conservatives like 6 seats so the Bloc and Cons aren't far away from each other.

ideologically.. well.. somewhat. I mean, they both have in common the separatist movement. The bloc is more socially liberal though.

Hey Aristartle... Socrates/Socratez... Tomato, tomoto... Its all the same (you know what I mean?).... Anyhow, who’s not real, me or Iron?

Actually, to be perfectly honest, I kinda whish I wasn't real right now... I kinda feel like one of the %59 of Americans that voted against bush did before he came into power... the only real sad truth however is, that in America - the CONS stole the election... here, most Canadians were tricked into voting, and did so of their free will. Again, I’m also happy we have a minority.. cause it could have just as easily went majority...

Dude, that's the way I've felt for the past decade and a half with Screwface and his Liberal crooks at the helm.

You can calm down. Harper is not George Bush and unless you're a handout seeking welfare reject you've nothing to worry about.

Burby, this will last longer. The Fiberals have gotta pick another crooked frenchman to run the party, the infighting from that alone's gonna last at least a year. Then the new crook will want time to get some personal credibility. I think Harper's got a good two to three years.

Of course, he'll get dick all one cause every time he tries to do something sensible like cut taxes or stop crime Gassy Jack and the Blocheads will whine...

Yeah, well my point was that this probobly won't last 4 years.

I could see the Cons and Bloc getting together for more provincial autonomy though, and who knows if they will let down each of their guards to let the relationship go further.

I acctually think that Harper will be able to do more to quell the seperatists in Quebec than the Liberals have.
