Isn't Banff in Wales. It sounds welsh. My neighbours are Canadian. They must be pretty rich to own a house in Canada and in Spain never mind the airfares back and forward. Nice people though.

If I had the cash - I'd live in Vancouver for the summer and winter in Calgary** and vacation on the East Coast (**-40C and sunny trumps grey rainy crap imo) Now that I've finally driven BC, I got to say I still like the Alberta side the best. Banff is great.
I have never seen a real log cabin...just some fancy houses that have fake log cabin siding ...I never seen a real igloo either...or teepee
