OK, I've got a few from a book that I bought a while back, but I figured we could get a big thread going with everyones recipes that way we could have our own online Cannabis Cookbook! I took a lot of time to type this out in Microsoft Word, to assure spelling, and in a clean format. Please do the same, lets do this and do it right. Recipe # 1.)Cannbutter : Can't Start Without It One formula is 2-7 grams of bud, or ¼-1oz of leaf for a ¼-lb stick of butter, yielding a dose (in inverse proportions) of ½-2 tbsp per person. Method 1 A. The buds or leaf should be crumbled into small flakes or powder. B. The herb and butter or oil go in a double boiler, a small pot inside a larger pot filled with water; this prevents the butter-herb mix from burning, as it can if cooked directly on the stove. Cooking on the stove needs the lowest heat possible with a few tablespoons of water added, and frequent stirring. It takes around 20-45 minutes to cook, and it's important not to let it burn. "Not only do you ruin the high, but the flavor is awful" warns former High Times news editor Peter Gorman, a veteran professional chef. C. When done, the leaf residue can be strained out, otherwise all the food will taste like pot. (The leftover herb can then be chopped up further and added to an "herbed bread" recipe.) Gorman suggests using cannabutter to cook an omelet, or for grilled cheese sandwiches, while cannabis oil can be used to sauté a veggie mix, or chilled and used to season a tuna nicoise. Method 2 Another method is to put enough water in a soup pot to more then cover the herb, and then add butter and simmer for a couple of hours. Chilling in the refrigerator will separate the butter from the old skanky water. The water can then be drained through a hole poked in the chilled butter. Then the butter is heated enough to press the leaf out and rechilled in a metal bowl. The remaining water is then drained off and what is left is the most gorgeous green lovin' butter! Whatever isn't used can be refrigerated or frozen. Recipe #2) Ganja Gourmet Brownies Ingredients: 9 Ounces - Unsweetened brownies (not bittersweet, not semisweet) · 10 Ounces – Cannabutter · 9 Large Eggs – · 2 Pounds (Yes, POUNDS) - White Sugar · ½ Tbsp – Vanilla Extract · ½ Tbsp – Salt · 2 ¼ Cups – All Purpose Flour · 8 Ounces – Walnut Halves, Chopped The chocolate and cannabutter are gently melted together over very low heat or in a double boiler. Chocolate separates if heated too much, so this has to be done carefully. The mixture is blended until thoroughly combined and then cooled to room temperature. The Eggs are beaten in one at a time using on high speed. After all the eggs have been added, the mixture should have a pudding like consistency. The sugar is beaten in ½ cup at a time until all is mixed in. Vanilla extract and salt are added. Now the flour has to be “folded” in ½ cup at a time, using a spatula. Do not over mix! The walnuts are added and mixed until they are evenly dispersed. Finally the mixture goes into a greased ½ - sheet tray and is spread out evenly. The brownies are baked in a pre-heated oven at 300°F for 25 minutes. The tray is rotated 180 degrees and then baked for another 25 minutes. A total of 50 minutes cooking time. The center can be tested with a toothpick. Some people like it chewier and remove it when a tiny crumb or two is still attached to the toothpick. It’s more common to wait until the toothpick comes out clean, and then remove from the oven. The brownies should be cooled for 15 or so minutes before serving. For an extra twist, let the brownies cool for a few minutes (still warm though), then put a nice scoop of ice cream on top. Recipe #3) Ganja Oil Bread Dip Ingredients: For One Person · ½ - 1 Gram Marijuana · 2 – 3 Tbsp Olive Oil · To Taste - Chopped Garlic · To Taste – Oregano The marijuana is sautéed in the olive oil. This is cooked gently on low heat long enough to activate the herb. Chopped garlic and oregano can be added to taste. The oil is sopped up with pieces of bread. Recipe #4) Tincture of Cannabis Ingredients: * Vodka * Marijuana (Fresh or Dried) Mix one part vodka to 5 parts fresh marijuana – OR- One part vodka to 10 parts dried marijuana. The preparation should be stored in glass, and let stand for at least two weeks in a warm place to extract all vital elements. Tincture can be drunk, used sublingually, or used topically, applied to the affected area.
Dammit, there's no way I'm the only one on this forum with marijuana recipes, come on people stop being lazy!
Yeah this forum is getting ultra lazy lately, and a lot of people dont even bother posting in the main forum, they only post in the Stoners' Lounge because you dont have to talk about just weed in there, and most of us are baked anyways haha... You should message Skip about making a Cooking With Cannabis subforum... Then everyone could put their weed recipes and questions in there...
good idea bro. I'll do it after I get back from dinner with my parents ..... ... hey it's free food =)
i say sticky this and let it grow slow i love the idea i just have none but have freinds who are awesome ganja cooks..if i could just get a hold of em..lol

Yeah, this is a good thread. Most people don't have the ambition to care, as far as cooking goes... at least on this forum. Sometimes I don't get this forum. But I still enjoy it.
That.. doesn't exist. You mean the stoners forum... I suppose. But some of them are rather shoddy, from what I recall.
Maybe if we leave it people will post, I want to have this post sticky'd and all these posts deleted just my original post with the recipes, and make it recipes only. COME ON MODS HELOOO!!!??
what kind or recipies are you looking for? once you have cannabutter it can be put on or in everything. grab yourself a normal cook book.
People are always looking for recipes on here, I've seen like 2 or 3 threads in the past month or two asking about recipes, this thread should be stickied, IMO.
