canned heat!

I just started really listening to these guys a couple months ago. That stuff is great. My favs are.

Fried Hockey Boogie, Let's Work Together, Going Up the Country, Amphetamine Annie, Bullfrog Blues, Dust My Broom, Rollin' and Tumblin'

 

Goin' up the country is my favorite. I think it was Alan Wilson,their singer,that died very young,if memory serves. They were,like many 6o's bands,pretty unique.

 

Is there any good footage of canned heat that you'd like to share with us ?

I love me some Canned Heat ! Going up to the country is a must .Also On the road again .Together we stand is also one of their best

 

I saw them a couple years ago at a Blues fest. The only original member is the drummer so they're more of a tribute band, nonetheless they were a tight band and did a great job. Check out their website which has their tourdates http://www.cannedheatmusic.com/
