What is so wrong with cannibalism its no different that eating animals cause we are one too. We just put people in a grave even though they could be eaten it would also save space in this tiny world.

    PS: I don't eat humans, and I don't eat animals either; I'm a vegetarian.

cannibalism is illness... every canibal should be shot... if you are alone on island whit friend, you dont have anythink to eat and he dies sooner than you, you can eat him, but in normal civilization and big cities is canibalism illness...

Its no different than eating any other animal. When your dead in a grave you contribute nothing to society; but if we would to be eaten you would contribute to society. Hell we could give starving kids in Africa some meat, that would be a huge contribution, you would take something useless that takes up space and give other people life.

Also it use to be a common practice till everybody became civilized and it still happens in nature between animals.

Oh also diseases caused by canabalism can be prevented if you don't eat the brain.

If you want to be eaten, just put an ad on the internet. I'm sure you'll find plenty of weirdos happy to do it.

kuru is one hell of a major turn off! it is like mad cow disease.

we don't eat cats or dogs either.
we view them as our friends and families.

if you limit canniblism to just eating flesh, it is quite rare in most parts of the world.
if you add in the drinking of human blood and human semen then, canniblism is far, far, more common through out the world then most people belive.

i think the problem that i have with it is if people started eating those that died naturally, it would be a slippery slope. What would stop us from murdering and eating each other? I think with many humans comes this sense of unity as a species, and to eat one another would destroy that unity. Idunno

the only reason cannibalism is so rare is cause it is a taboo
the only time kuru really happened was during the 20th century in Papa New Guinea

It is easier for people to eat animals because they can relate more to them. Most people don't think about the animals they eat as having a family, a life and an identity.

I agree that the taboo against eating human flesh is a hysterical superstition.
Cannibalism is ordinary in the animal kingdom and occurs for many reasons. I do not condone cannibalism, I am just saying that it has it's place in contributing to survival.

what would be neat if you just donated your body then they would sell it at a store or send it off to another country so the family doesn't have emotional breakdown from eating their loved ones i couldn't eat a dead family member but if it is some random stranger i'm cool with it as long as its legal which its not

I don't see how eating already dead people will break our unity, in the Himalayas there was a plane crash that resulted in the need for survival. They had to eat their friends and family to survive.Like the guy that had to eat his mother. It didn't tear them apart, it gave them a bond.

I suppose if you don't think about it, you could eat just about anything.

Its not like if cannibalism became legal, murder would. Murder is still a crime and it always be. Cannibalism just makes use out of a dead person.

Its also like saying if marijuana became legal, heroin would.

Yea, I was reading a story of a guy that killed women in Canada and he owned a pig farm so he sold their meat, people thought it was pork.

Taking that further our emotional body is informed by our narrative of events.

If a "familiar" grabs your crotch, you may find it pleasant but if a "stranger" grabs your crotch it can be horrifying, even though it may be exactly the same physical activity.

I guess what I was trying to convey is that, if we were allowed to eat our dead for hunger reasons (not ritualisitc reasons) then we would always be watching our backs.
