Its so disgusting how chef dont use gloves to cook food at resturants its crazy.... also burger king doesnt use gloves fucking crazy
And I cook in a cafe, tell ya what I hate gloves. I tried wearing them and the feel like shitmy hands can't breathe, no grip but I'm always washing my hands tho.
i dont really have a problem with it. one thing i noticed though is that at waffle house, the cooks will touch raw meat with their hands, and then put cooked food on your plate. i've never gotten sick from there though.
ok if it's Burger King they should wear gloves, but I don't think that is considered a restaurant if there is not gratitude left on the bill space, then it's not really worth going to for a sit down meal. Though Carl's Jr. is the exception as their main headquarters does serve a nice selection of wines and spirits with any order. Anyways the places I go to they feel the ingredients and with their experience choose the best of the batch and helps make the meal better. But cheap fast food areas should use gloves or always wash hands with hand sanitizers each time before they make each and every meal. Though just try not to think about it, as long as they have an A or what they're trying to use now as "P" for pass.. instead of grades which I hate.. Then it should be fine, and well taken care of. Main chains like BK will have giant lawsuits if they aren't clean handed so, just take that into account. Sucks but that's how life goes, sorry.
Ive been a proffesional chef in resorts and hotels for about 5 years the laws vary from state to state but in general: if the food is not cooked yet gloves arent necessarily required by law (although its up to the integrity of the individual chef to wash there hands so theres no cross contamination or a health hazard especially with raw meat poultry and fish. all ready to eat food salads, anything being plated, desserts things like that require gloves. also remember that food heated to 165 degrees will kill bacteria in the food .there is alot of natural bacteria in alot of raw meats poultry fish. that being said ive seen some grimy shit go down on the line. but the serious chefs i have worked with who uphold themselves to serving safe quality food wash there hands alot and use gloves when necessary like myself. food should be an art and be prepared to please a customer or whoever its being prepared for i guess either know your chef or have blind faith lol alot of people especially in low quality chain restaraunts arent chefs there cooks and could care less. the choice is yours and believe me i know what im talking about i was sous chef of a multi million dollar restaurant in a beautiful resort
I'm Really Not Concerned Over The Glove Issue, I Guess If My Immune System Wasn't Up To Scratch, Then I Would Have Been Dead Years Ago.... What Does Worry Me However, Is When My Doctor Slips On A Pair Of Disposable Gloves.... Cheers Glen.
I thought it was common and even obliged to wash your hands in restaurant kitchens after you handled something unhygienic, especially when they don't have a glove wearing policy. As long as I don't see them scratch their asses etc. and go back handling the food I assume they're being hygienic. After all you can wear the same dirty gloves all day long too and in between handling the thrash can, scratch your ass etc.
Catchy Name..:2thumbsup:..And I'm Sure If We Can Find A Billboard Big Enough To Display It, We Can Take Over The Fast Food, And The Medical Industry In A Never Seen Before Stockmarket Coup.... Cheers Glen.
