caseings or cake?

    ok i have 6 pint size cakes ... now im wondering what would give me more yeild ... do i just birth the cakes one at a time and friut them or do you suppose casing them one at a time and fruiting them? i can ony do one at a time but i want as much yeid as possible.... so if i get 3 flushes out of the cake and 3 flushes out o the casing wat will give me more weight?

    dude crumble them up and spawn them to poo or coir (1:3 spawn to poo ratio), then let that colonize fully, then case (1/2"-1") and fruit

    Soak your cakes in steralized, and cooled water (after they have been fully colonized for a week) for 24 hours and case them with steralized vermiculite (wet it down and strain it) on the cakes, this will keep the moisture high and they will fruit good. I highly suggest doing all your 6 cakes at once. Tho spawning in dung will work as well sometimes more effeciently pending on your mushroom strain, but it can be difficult sometimes to get it.

    no, its more efficient. not sometimes, all the time, but it puts all your chickens in one basket. if you fail and it gets contaminated your fucked and have to start over, but if you fruit mushrooms you WILL get more than if you had just fruited cakes.
