I was at the local beach today, it was ideal day for naked swimming and sunbathing... Autumn is coming and real soon will be to cold for such outdoor activities. Only few people on the beach (which is perfect because I'm still little shy and new to nudism). I envy all of you people living in areas where temperature never goes below 10-15 C. Swimming and diving season throughout the hole year, that would be great :sunny: Question: Are there any brave people here who are skinnydipping even when temperature is close or below the zero celsius?

Last time i skinny dipped in freezing water my cock shrivelled to virtually nothing, it was infitisimally small, except unlike the universe, there was no big bang and no massive expansion. It hurt like hell as well...So no i dont skinny dip in winter these days...

    I completely agree.

Last year in early October I went to my hometown to see friends and relatives and since I had only few occasions to swim in the sea during that summer, I decided to hit the beach although sea temp was low. After half hour swim my lips were dark blue, I was uncontrollably shaking and my penis reduced to peanut size

Later I saw report on bunch of Russians who swim throughout the year. It's very simple- drill a hole in thick ice, strip naked and jump in :) I wonder how many of them end up with heart attack... I'm pretty sure I'd dive in, but it would be highly unlikely that I'll dive out

I doubt that it was really below 0°C, but several times i did dip into the sea during beach walks in fall or winter. Not for a long swim, just a dip of some minutes. Makes you feel like newborn afterwards, kind of electricified. Of course you need to be in the right mood for, it's not a must. If you feel too cold coming off the water you can run a bit to get warm and dry again and then put on your clothes. Or you have someone who warms you with a hug ;-)

Once i had some seals swimming near me and looking what i was doing. In summer when the water is crowded, they rarely come so near to the people.

The only way that people can enjoy cold water is if it is a very, very short exposure after a sauna session and you go back into the sauna. I would prefer to roll naked in snow rather than jump into a cold lake in winter. Then brush off the snow and go back to the sauna!

A few years ago, I swam in the ocean in early January, but I was in Hawaii and it was not cold at all!

Around here the latest I have been skinny dipping is the middle of October and it was after several unusually hot days, what we call "Indian Summer".

A nudist club where I used to live would rent an athletic centre for indoor winter swimming, but that too was very warm water.

Other than a quick dip, why be uncomfortable in cold water? Will your friends think that you are super man if you do it? Who cares! Pain when you are in cold water is your body trying to stop you from continuing something stupid.

Cold, freezing water is amazing to dip in. You come out completely rejuvenated and hydrated plus its a good way to burn a few unwanted calories.
There's nothing more worse than coming out of yuck, warm water.

A dip is healthy if you have some warm place to go immediately after and have no pre-existing vascular problem, no argument there.

Warm water is delightful for swimming and can even be romantic with the right person in the water with you.

There's a beach in Cornwall that I go to where you can have a BBQ/fire on the beach in the evening. I love going there in the late summer/fall with friends for parties. One of the best parts is a chilly skinny dip followed by a huddle by the fire under a blanket :2thumbsup: Admittedly the swim sometimes lasts for a few minutes at best due to the cold...BRRRRRRR :)
