I know of three stray cats in central Ohio who need a home. One of them is sick and will probably need veterinary care. She may be pregnant as well. Let me know if anybody's interested. I've spent some time petting/talking to the one cat. He's a little sweetheart. Part of one ear clipped by something... Probably got into a fight.
For stray cats with one ear clipped that usually means that they've been spayed. Most vets who "fix" stray/feral cats will clip a signifigant portion of their ear. So its very possible this cat was brought in by someone to be fixed and then released. edit: although, if he's a HE then it would be quite simple to tell if he is actually neutered or not.
