Caught smoking in my room...

Well to star off, I'm actually 15, and I got in trouble at school because one of my textbooks got the cover bent. I ended up getting saturday detention, which REALLY sucks. It's at 7 in the morning up to 11.

Since I know how much Saturdays suck since I've had them before, I usually don't sleep very well the night before. I had about .5 of a gram left, so I decide to smoke it and hang out for an hour before I go to bed (weed helps me sleep). So about 3 minutes into my session (I was by myself), I hear my dad coming up the stairs to my bedroom floor to do some laundry. I was in the middle of a bowl and I'm like OH SHIT! So I panicked and threw everything under this chair in my room, weed was everywhere and itt smelled like weed in my room big time. I usually blow the smoke out the window but I didn't think anyone was going to be coming up to my floor for a while (my house has 3 floors, 2nd floor has my parents room, and my siblings rooms, and I'm on the third floor by myself with the laundry room, which is sweet.)

Anyway, I say to myself ok, calm down, so I go outseide my room and start up a conversation with my dad. Little did I know that when i opened up my door to talk to him, I blew a shitload of potsmoke in his face, and he smelled it. He knew from the first moment, and I could tell because he was talking to me weird.

I was like SHIT HE KNOWS so I try to collect all the spilt weed under my chair and hide it. I was too late though, both my parents come up in about 2 minutes and I told them it was insence. They were like come on tell the truth, so I gave them eerything, which they would have found anyway since it was still under the chair.

My mom started crying and my dad was like "you cant do that it's illegal, so from now on were testing you twice a week and f you test positive once, your never getting a car, and if you test poitive a second time, were calling the police." Which is so fucked up because I know my dad used to smoke so much.

I tried to back myself up with decent grades, going to church, and being a good person, but it's no use when they have the higher ground as parents, and have the law on their side.

I got caught on march 21st (my birthday) and I havent smoked since :-(
I want a car lol.

Do you think I made the right choice though?

Smoke and risk getting caught, or don't smoke and be guaranteed a free Honda Civic?

I think I chose right, there is so much more to life than weed.

some drug screens are more limited than others, and youre parents may be only using the cannabis test. find other drugs that are just as fun (pills- xanax, valium, vicodin- herbs- salvia, or even morning glory seeds if you want a trip.) also lsd doesnt show up after about 12 hours. Be creative.

one high does not substitute very well for another you crave, I don't think

I mean, it makes up for it a bit, but it's not nearly as fulfilling

 

I'd say if you're close to getting a free car, well then hell go for it, but if you're not gonna get it for a while, just smoke and get a job to buy a car if need be.

 

I sure miss weed a lot, me and my best bud would always roll like 6 joints, and walk around town at like 12 at night in the middle of the street (the less traveled ones) and if a car went by we would just hold the J by like our pelvis area to hide it. It was awesome. We would do that every weekend.

I tried to get some shrooms, but theyre so hard to find around here. I wanna try tripping before I get back to weed.

LSD is out of your system in 30 minutes. the only way you can test someone for LSD is with a urine sample within a half hour of them taking the acid.

 

lol, yeah my parents let me smoke outside too, when they found my stash i was in the process of moving into the basement and they're like "we don't want you smoking that shit in the house, and don't think just because you're moving to the basement that you can smoke dope down there"

but i went outside and smoked a joint on the front step while they were in the living room and they didn't care

 

i say fuck the honda civic and smoke that shit, or just wait till your 18 and tell them fuck you, but you have a long time till then, sucks though for you man, that aint right that your dad is crackin down so bad on you and he used to do it to.

 

Not true, its in there for up to 3 days (IM pretty sure its 3), but its very hard to test for and almost never will be so don't worry about it

when i got caught my dad asked who had the weed, my ex boyfriend told him that he does and my dad goes let me see it.. so my ex showed it to him and my dad goes holy shit i wish i could have some of that :tongue: the next day they said not to smoke anymore, and that was the end


but anyway, if i was you, i'd quit smoking for awhile.. then when you get the car smoke as much as you want!

 

Aww, poor you! My parents were mass hippies in the 60's, so they understand if I smoke some pot. I'm sorry you're parents are so anti-weed. I do agree with their views however. Pot sometimes comes from bad people or some pot is bad. I would suggest telling them that it's a natural thing to do and is considered a sacred herb under the Christianity religeon (true, no joke... it was a sort of oil that priests drank that the recipie contained 9 pounds canabis tops and different oils. If that doesn't work, then you have 2 options:

1) After smoking pot, clear out your system with as many pickled things as you can along with water. You cannot eat any fatty foods in the process. Also drink the juices of the pickled stuff...

2) Don't smoke pot anymore

It's a money-drainer, and after I get my car in 2 years, I'll start back up again. I'm hoping it won't be that long so I can slowly build their trust up again, and sneak in a session or two every 3 months or so. I get tested twice a week, so it really sucks. IF I do smoke there's a high hcnace of me getting caught, so I'm just like fuck weed for now, it's not worth losing a car over, and maybe going to rehab.

If your parents are REALLY opposed to weed, honestly i'd just wait a while. Weed will ALWAYS be there...it aint goin no where hahaha. So honestly- i think you're doing the right thing by abstaining (and pickin' up the free civic hahaha)! Just do what you feels right! I used to argue with my dad a lot and complain that he's sitting there chillin' out drinking beer and wine, but i can't smoke a lil weed. Eventually i stopped arguing, but now he's pro-weed legalization (just not in his house haha). Parents are really just confused how to approach weed man because they basically all did it back in the day...you just gotta go with their flow and maybe as you grow and they grow in their respect for you they'll give you more privileges and possibly allow you to toke. Just try to keep the peace, i think you're doing things well so far... just do what you feel is right.

 

Yeah it suck when they find out... Mine found out on cristmas when moving the bbq in the backyard (it was a good spot to hide!!) I'll post a thread!!!

But as it has been said.. you can't legaly drive by yourself til you 18!.. so why learn in your car and smash it???

Smoke that shit up and get yourself a good job (and remember if you EVER plan on rockin up to work stoned... IT IS IMPERITIVE you are stoned in the interview... not BLAZED but evenly Toasted just to asure that it looks as if that is how you act normally.. go in blazed though... BYE BYE JOB!!!) and buy an even better car when you have your p's
