According to a new study, funded by the American government, the radiation emitted from a cell phone after 50 minutes of use increases activity in brain cells. When compared to cell phones that were not in use (whatever that means-not next to ones skull?) the off phones did not show the same results.
Very interesting, I have read of these studies before and my guess is that they could prove to be the gateway to more research on how to increase brain function in a more direct way.
Have any of you ever read Stephen King's book "Cell"? lol But really, do y'all think the gov't will come out with a study stating that cell phones are BAD for you? I don't...especially if any of the conspiracy theories are even close to correct regarding cell phones.
"Experts" have a long history of conducting "studies" that are less scientific fact and more misleading propaganda at limiting the loss of profit that results from adverse information coming to light about a consumer product. Take the tobacco industry for example... for DECADES after initial studies showing conclusive links to cigarette smoking and cancer, "experts" from big tobacco insisted there were no proven health links between cigarette smoking and lung disease- and the federal government sat on its hands doing NOTHING- willfully ignoring the mounting evidence as to the real health implications from using the product as it was intended. Similarly, the asbestos industry churned on well after conclusive links between exposure to asbestos and an aggressive form of lung cancer were identified- then covered up- not only by the industry but also by those who pretended to represent consumers via elected office. The fact is that at least in the the United States, government only ACTS on behalf of the corporate swine who control the puppet strings of the patsies who pretend to care about the working class when all they care about is money. This is the way it always has been and always will be. When any senator or representative makes any claim to caring about you and me the first and most important thing to keep in mind is that they are lying. They always will lie- therefore, the premise that it is the governments job to regulate is a fallacy; we simply need reliable information so people can make informed decisions about their lives knowing the inherent risks instead of cultivating a reliance on a watch-dog advocate government and industry funded "experts" to tell them what's good for them because history has shown definitively that any trust invested with these entities has been foolishly placed. Reliable information will empower people to decide which economic sectors will survive and which ones will die a natural death. Any time I see a news item about a study of an industry I keep in mind that first and foremost I am most likely being lied to.
?! But I have another question.. what were they doing when the phones were on versus when the phones were off? I hate how terribly mainstream news reports on studies.
I wondered that as well. It simply left that information out, how convenient. It's a very vague study.
how about computer radiation?is it bad to our cells too?how long should a person stay in front of a computer? thanks in advance guys.
Well, the human brain is very powerful and very sensitive... I would imagine that careful study would show that it reacts to most everything in our lives, especially things like cell phones which have their own power sources, emotional attachments, and are with us constantly. Of course, I don't own a cell phone... Does that mean I won't mutate with the rest of population and I will fall behind? I want those super-hero powers!
Just think.... if we taped cell phones to the heads of our senators and congresscritters.... It wouldn't exactly hurt us, nor would it help them. So in reality it could be a win-win situation....
Hmmm...what should I do today 50min on the cellphone or just a minute with my head in the microwave? feel'n smarter every day
