apparently possible snow tomorrow. talked for a while with a good friend about a few things. so happy and ready to stay on this positive track, slowly build myself back up tand start the empire lol.

gotta install the head unit i bought and arrived today with a 6 disk CD changer for my car, instead of the one with nothing but radio. also got comm service amongst other things. almost done with that though!

 

i would like to make farm implements sized to be pulled by a goat. or a person. i like the idea of living power. i want to do a lot, but i dont want to be separate from it. i thought i had researched farm utility vehicles, but i dont seem to have saved any. it would be overkill on this property, but eventually im sure i will have something that can easy the workload of my goals. hell, theres a lot of tasks ive thought of that such a vehicle would make far easier. maybe i can rent one. hmmm. and one day i will have a proper farm and room for a barn chock full of implements.

 

you can rent garden tillers from home depot or lowes

once the soil it tilled its pretty easy doing the rest with hand tools

 

I'd build a pond, dozer would be overkill though. There's a proper pond over on the next property... I just want a sizable backyard pond.

Anybody ever done carny work?

Looking at some job postings for next summer. It'd take us out west and back. Might look into it but it's a sketchy job.

 

i know someone who did

he was a real piece of work...a scammer and a thief..and a creep

the job suited him well

 

if i do a water feature it will be for raising fish. i would like to be able to raise kokanee salmon. there would be a lot of obstacles to overcome, but i think it can be done. and if it doesnt work i can use it to raise easier fish.it would also be filtered by a stepped aquaponics system. i want a solar pump system, and a waterwheel. it will be fan-fucking-tastic. one day when i have money. its actually a design ive worked on a lot. it wouldnt be easy to change around once put together, so it all has to be planned just right before then, and i have to run through all the potential problems, and factor in unknown difficulties, so that i dont make extra work for myself down the line.

tonight we had what i call "christmas " snow

the kind that falls slow in light huge chunks and sticks to every inch of the trees

it was kind of nice...i would have taken pictures if it was light out

 

I went to the doctor today...first time going for feeling like hell (rather than a bone break) in years. I have bronchitis. I was prescribed 6 antibiotics and some prednizone. I sure do hope those antibiotics are strong (they were a little over $1 a piece) since there were so precious few! My first dose was to take 2 when I got home this afternoon, and damn if I can tell a bit of difference in how I feel.

I'm not exactly thrilled with being prescribed the prednizone. I'm not supposed to start them until tomorrow and the dr said "they might make you edgy and it may be hard to sleep". well hell...

I've known several people that have done some carny work...a man (and his family) that lives near me has run carnivals for years, years and years. He hired a friend of mine for a brief period to help him complete a carny dictionary (basically for her to ghost write it) but he was a SUPER ass and she quit. Anyway, he told her that if you didn't cheat him out of at least some money, he didn't think you'd be a good carny worker. lol

It takes a certain type of person to do carny work.

 

Yeah. I'm probably not shady enough for that job.

 

lol...yeah, that is exactly what I thought when I read you were looking at carny jobs. I'd say you're definitely too straight forward/honest for the carny work as I know it.

 

In the past 1 1/2 hrs, I've gone to the door in the kitchen with the big window that looks onto the porch.

I've seen a great big racoon, who has been visiting lately and a little possum.

That big racoon sees me in that big window and he goes SCAT, fleeing out the door everytime he sees me. I like that. I have to about the open the door and push out the possum. stupid possum

Of the 2 outside cats, 1 is always there and rarely both are there, when the normally wild wildlife visits for food.

 

my sister worked at an amusement park and she's an idiot.
she married the food guy from the same place. he's on the dumb side too

the people that still work there are REALLY weird.
and some live just beyond the parking lot by the river..

 

was at the store with my brother today and i was pushing the basket and i kept hitting other peoples baskets. After the third time i was like SERIOUSLY?!!? come on!
got some good beer though!

 

still snowing here....todays haul and more snow

 

I have flu and a hacking cough.Just staying in wrapped up warm.Hope I'm fit for my computer studies class on Thursday and life painting day on Saturday.
