I was horrible in 6th grade when they thought long division is important.

We all know smart people in some form.

Tell her a pillow feels amazing, and you are instant dry out of shower. :)

By basic math, I'm talking about adding, subtraction, multiplication and division.

The long division you are talking about, Broony, isn't as important as they wanted to make it out to be. That's probably the one thing I'd even "cheat" on the calculator with. :)

My girl is planning on wearing a wig for a time! lordhavemercy...She really is a beautiful girl with a nice, tight young woman figure so she could pull off any haircut and turn heads. lol But she doesn't have the confidence she will have one day...but she's getting there.

ML, big remodel! When I designed a kitchen years ago in a house we were building the best advice I got was to rough it out and then go to an architect that specialized in interior design. It was relatively reasonable in price and the advice was invaluable for increasing space usage and storage. Like you I did not want to redo it and waste time and money. A lot of helpful and in the long run cost saving was gained by doing that.

Now if only that had helped with the chaos I felt while doing it. :)

yeah, big remodel is what its going to be, ultimately. we just need to have it functional between now and having the money to do remodeling. im splitting the garage into a master bedroom and the expanded kitchen, so we can have a good kitchen/ dining space. the garage is 12x24. i figure the wall between the dining room and the bedroom can be cabinetry, basically pantry/ kitchen storage. a lot of the work has to wait anyway, because i really hate floor transitions. tile to wood or vinyl etc. i want all our floors to be continuous if possible. they are hardwood now, but old, damaged, and crappy, with gaps.

so we will just need to save money, and whittle down the bills. and maybe in a few years we will be ready. get this baby born, find work nearby, save save save. have another, maybe, but already being employed should make that easier. maybe 3 years is a good goal. it all depends.

Three years goes fast. :) If you can not attach cabinets you could always have free standing units built to fit the space you have. Also the island that Ty mentioned could be a great idea as well as they can be really functional as well as not fixed so that you can move it if you wish to use it as a part of the counters or a free standing unit rather than a U design.

This is another neat idea, to use crutches as a shelf.

Possible. I think most people seem to have these old ones hanging around the garage or storage spot and it would be a neat way to re-use them at least.

YUP! Ikea have a lot of really good storage ideas. I am not keen on their furniture as it falls apart but their cookware, linens and accessories are not bad. :)
