comicon is this weekend in ottawa and the back/future car was touring around the downtown ...people were reporting it on the traffic reports...the day before we had a dude in knights armour on a white horse...dont know what that one was about

yes he is certainly witty....in my defense it is harder to come up with quality jabs because of my interaction with actual people during daylight hours.....

morning. you hear about this new federal bill to make it illegal to wear a mask at a riot or unlawful assembly? despite the fact that it is already illegal? our conservative government is so fucked up.

 

Is it already illegal?

I'm pretty sure that bill was spawned as a result of the student protests here in Quebec. Then the Conservatives saw the bill and decided to get behind it. It is pretty fucked indeed.

 

well it's illegal to riot and unlawfully assemble, and apparently there is already a charge for wearing a mask while committing a crime? I just read one article while eating my breakfast this morning, so I could be mistaken.

 

That would make sense.. figures that they wouldn't introduce a bill to make something illegal if it already was outright illegal.

I really don't think this bill will make much of a difference, though.. If you show up to a protest with a mask so that you can break stuff and throw rocks at the cops then you'll probably end up doing just that whether the law says you can or you can't. Especially if it has already been declared an illegal assembly.

My hair is pretty long now. about down to my shoulders in back and in front i can pull it into my mouth. Get a rat tail

 

I started cutting my own hair last week, went well.

 

i really want to grow out my hair, but i just don't see that as a possibility for now. having long hair and maintaining this mindset i have now...it isn't right.

i dunno, maybe i'm attributing things that aren't related - but i'd rather deliberately grow my hair from stock and try to keep my emotions and mentality in balance throughout, or moreso than I have now.

I'm not worried, either way - it will grow back.

 

and then i start second guessing myself.
i want to cut my hair because i have the initial thought of cutting it.
but then i want to keep it.

i may cut it just so i don't have to think about whether or not i should. i can't cut it again after it has already been cut.
