yes...i too thought the baked at 420 part was particularly clever.......

the clouds seem to be parting here.....windmills slowing down some............

when i look outside i check the direction of the windmills because they turn to face into the wind automatically......that way i know which side of the house to do stuff on so i'm wind blocked


lady emailed me back so i'm gonna have a camera soon enough....i figure 25 dollars i cant go wrong.....i gotta check the battery still works though


i'm sweeping and mopping today....with my woodstove there is always a mess from the door to the stove....

i have to get everything puppy proofed. they are so adorable. the girl looked like she would be black and white, but now it looks like black, white and brindle.

the city has removed the water meter covers and replaced them with cones, all up and down our street. i wonder why?

 

what year is the camera and what make....
it may use them lithium batteries which are more expensive
or a rechargable camera battery ? which battery does it use

 

maybe they are getting ready to replace them all with new ones...

Dude... I think I just quit my job...

My boss pisses me the fuck off, and I don't deal well with bullshit.... I woke up this morning to a text from him saying "you guys are not getting paid for the last half hour from yesterday night. If you don't take this job seriously you can expect more cuts" well then fuck you, you can expect to hire more people, you're the little bitch that was begging me to work more by offering me a raise

He's not paying us for the half hour, because we were 'talking to much' yet we closed the store and finished at the exact same time we always do. Last night was one of the busiest nights we've had in a long long time, there were 2 separate lines all the way to the back door, and every single table and chair in the store was filled... Yet, he thought it would be a good idea to cancel 2 peoples shifts that night, AND send 1 home early?! THEN... He didn't even show up himself because he said he wouldn't be needed...

So it was busy as hell, all night long, and we were struggling just to keep the orders under 8 minutes! when ideally they should be under 2-3... it was rediculous...

So, then we finally closed... and we were exhausted, so yea of course we are gunna laugh and talk a bit, but we all still worked hard and closed to store because we wanted to get out of there ASAP, eeryone always works there best when closing so we can all leave soon as possible...

So I ignored his text.. i was like fuck it, he's just an asshole... So, then he texted me back saying "fuck it im taking a full hour off" what the fuck? so, i said "kk, i'm taking the week off then, cya"

Dunno if he knows i'm serious or not, but i am... i'm not replying to his shitty ass texts anymore, and i'm not showing up, he can go fuck himself, i'm getting some resumes ready as we speak... Boston Pizza is desperatly hiring people right now, i've seen their add on creaiglists for weeks and they just reposted it today saying they have many positions.. and i have experience, with 'supervisor' on my resume... if i want it i'll get the job forsure i bet

 

usually when moral is up you are more productive
if you weren't talking n making a few jokes it may of took you a extra half hour to finish what you were doing...especially after working soo hard with less people to do it

Exactly, when everyones in a bad grumpy mood working is miserable, it makes you not want to do stuff because you don't want to help out the person bitching at you, but when you're all laughing and getting along its the complete opposite!

Ecspecially when your boss texts you saying "fuck it" then going on to say how he's not going to pay us all for an hour... is that even legal?

He's so unprofessional... cheques are always late, our schedual is always late, he flirts with all the 16 year old girls working there, he'll cut shifts if you make him mad, and i know for a fact he's ripped me and others off 100's of dollars on cheques before too...

I'm going to try and apply at some nice legitimate restaurants... no more fast food crap... But, if all else fails... I know a girl that works at McDonalds, and she just told me they are hiring and i'd get a job there forsure, apparently her manager would 'love me' haha... but thats a last resort, i'm going to try applying at some more classy places first
