I can't believe anyone is using the Chinese government as an example of anything but fascism and horrid crimes against humanity and the earth. I'm sure those poor guys who were executed for speaking out against the Chinese government on the internet do not think to highly of any Chinese Communist Manifesto. I'm pretty sure all the women being subjected to forced abortions do not think too highly of their government right now. People pick weird things to latch on to when their own government is filled with inbred,morons.
Once a friend told me in France, they only taught about China based on events in 60s and 70s. He's not a French and I doubted it. Now I start to believe him. I even doubt in some places there's even no textbook at all. Amen.

china does have forced abortion (well, essentially for most people), and does violate human rights in a big way...
It IS a wonderful country if you compare it to a vast majority of the world. You could be living in Sudan right now, in the middle of one of the worst ethnic genocides in human history. The USA looks pretty damned fantastic compared to that. The reason why we know that China sucks is because several international human rights organizations have been watching China for about 20 years now. They have countless records of the atrocities the government has been inflicting. China earned it's spotlight back in 89 when a little thing called Tiannemen Square happened; you remember when the government shot at and rolled tanks over peaceful protestors?
