um, i'm pretty sure that i read that China has no plans for a manned mission to the moon. I know they said they did, but i think they backed out because of money reasons. though everyone is going to the moon..india..europe..heck, i wouldnt be surprised if haiti is planning to send its own mission
Kinda like our foreign policy, right? Completely consistent with the administration's "fuck the world" outlook. Gotta keep those corporate campaign contributions flowing in, I guess. If we ever get a lunar base, wanna bet the construction contract goes to Halliburton/KBR? And the rest of the world might actually want it that way, given recent events. The US isn't very popular outside our borders anymore. Thanks, dubya!
I can't blame anyone for developing a space program. The one here in the US is all but in a COMA. WE depend on the Russians to save our program by launching our personell and supplies to the ISS. Others want to help, and become active in the TRUE meaning of "I.S.S." The "I" does stand for INTERNATIONAL.
china is still i the infant stages of space travel. The U.S in many ways have figure out theres only so much we can do up there at a very high price. as long as we can launch satellites for our own good use. i could careless how many chinese are floating in a circle around the earth in a tin bucket.
