Ground up shrooms? Thats a waste. Oxidation is an ever present enemy, why would anyone want to ground them up, unless they are about to cook with it or something?
The mushrooms are ground up and laid into melted chocolate; it then hardens, preserving the fungus inside. There's no telling how powerful a chocolate can be, it depends on the potency of the mushrooms used (which is going to vary from batch to batch). I usually avoid chocolates as they tend to be bunk; actual mushrooms are much more consistent in quality...
i have never bought chocolates before. A friend was sellin a batch he made for $5 a choc. and each once had had a gram. He originally tried to sell them for 10, but no one wanted them. I was going to purchase a couple but never got around to it..
