    New Chrome browser from Google

Anyone interested in a new browser? I don't really why Google doesn't just work with Firefox or Opera, both of which will probably suffer more from this than Explorer.

I'm a big fan of Google, and think they are the biggest threat to Microsoft around (much more than Linux). But not sure I can get excited about Chrome.

That is very cool. It is an attractive browser.

I know Google is working on a programming language too. It will be associated with a web browser.

I just downloaded it and an am trying it out now. I like how minimalist the display is but I'm not sure if I like it yet. Much better than Explorer in my opinion. I have been running Mac Safari on my crappy Vista laptop, so we'll see if this beats Safari. I haven't gotten into Firefox yet but probably will if I don't like this google thing.

After a few days I think I'll stick with Firefox, though partly because Chrome is very beta feeling, but also because there are so many great extensions for Firefox. I tried Safari on XP and it was terrible! Hazy fonts, just bad.

I think IE8 is major threat though, I hear its one of those times when Microsoft actually gets things right.

I like chrome(it's what I'm on right now). It's not a huge difference from firefox though. Just small things really.

Chrome is the beginning of google's online OS. It also put them in a new position with Gears, and how that will affect the way Web Design is today. Not to mention the new memory structure is quite amazing.

I'm sure Google Chrome will be nice when it's finished. Right now it just seems a little buggy and beta-ish.

It is kinda buggy because it is a Beta version. Not a final release. Beta means it will have some bugs but the developers haven't finished programming everything.

If the final release has bugs, then there will be problems.

Save for the bugs (beta), you can clearly see how Google is poised to align their applications for a complete suite. Linux + chrome + apps... already using it to take advantage of the spreadsheet dashboard widgets. XML + Google spreadsheets = one hell of a way to visualize your data. Now if I can only find a way to remove the google branding without upgrading to the enterprise solutions.
