Cigarettes soon to be banned... finally!

Oh no wait, no they aren't because they are good money for the "economy", but wait it is a "sin" so shouldn't they be banned? Well I guess not because a sin is a figment of the imagination in some aspects. I am so confused. No wait greed is a sin I do believe so how about all you farmers out there boycott making tobacco and make cultivate something of a useful, less destructive manner, like umm lets see here... MARIJUANA?!???!?!!?


Any other ideas of a more useful commodity to grow that can be of help to the economy and a little less dangerous to humanity? Please don't jump on me for not mentioning all the chemicals added before they are sold to us, stating the obvious has always been a pet peeve of mine, but hey how bout this, if you like cigs and don't want hem banned then grow your own, what y'all think?

Being an ex smoker I can honestly say that I don't miss cigarettes at all. Once you get past the actual addiction and the fun of having a smoke with all your bromies its all good. All they are is government mind control and population control.

Cigs will never be banned.. sure government on one hand goes you cannot smoke here and here... but at the same time.. year after year states raise the taxes on them.. consumers keep buying them.. and its a great source of income for the state... the government makes SO much money on cigs its not funny.. quitting programs... ran by the state.. bring in more $$$ from people paying for medication and classes to quit smoking.. insurance companies charge more money for smokers... taxes... its insane how much money and from how many different resources the tobacco industry brings in

 

i've never smoked and don't really understand why ppl smoke at all. it all seems utterly pointless to me. however i'm for everybody having the right to do what they want with their body whether harmful or not. the only thing that i'd like changed is that all the public space be a non-smoking area including the streets. if anybody wants to smoke they can do it at their own home.

 

its tough to understand these days why people smoke.. but any child from the 80s and down.. we had candy cigs.. bubble gum cigs.. cartoon characters for cig commercials.. it was embedded in our brains that smoking was cool... now i don't understand.. since everything is so anti-smoking

Who gives a shit what any of us think about if others choose to smoke. If you want to smoke you most certainly should be able to, if you think otherwise fuck off, my decision, not yours.

You can't demand to remove the rights of one group of people (ciggy smokers) and then demand that another group have more rights (pot smokers) over a personal choice.

Where does making the demands stop? Ban alcohol - it's the most evil drug around IMO. Ban fatty foods - it's unhealthy! Ban farts - green house gasses. Once you start, where do you stop?

People of this day are informed well enough to make their own choices.

 

They should just make it so cigarette companies can't become a huge monopoly so it restrains them to staying local so there won't be so much bullshit chemicals put into them and they will be all natural. It would make the tobacco growers money, which can be taxed and used for the agricultural department or something, and local businesses would have great profits. All while tobacco remains natural and not AS harming and the people who want to smoke are happy
