did any of you start smoking when you were a kid, plan on quitting when you were older, and then not been able to quit?

 

yes. except i did quit

 

yeah, but I'm 22 and I don't feel it's the right time to stop yet.

i always said that i would quit if i ever got pregnant...and turns out, i actually stuck to it...i've been smoke free for almost two years now and i have a one year old son

yeah. i have to admit, i was one of those people. i started smoking cigs during high school when i was going through my experimental phase...

 

I need to smoke. gives me something to do with my hands. and it sure beats eating..

 

i cant use the patch, or any kind of medication, because of the current meds i take, so once we get back on our feet, and we get a house again, then im going to quit. but yeah, ive read all about stopping, even stopped the whole time i was pregnant with skys, but just a while later after i had my baby, my friend picked me up, and she lit a cigerette, and it smelled sooooooo good. and i asked her for one, she gave me one, and thats ALL it took. right back on the horse.

 

Nah but I sometimes have them on the occasion. like two a year id say haha

 

Yeah, I started when I was 14, 18 now, still haven't quit for good. I did quit once, and then silly me thought I could just have one and be okay...

 

i dont' smoke....i'll have a few if drinking with my boys if someone else buys them and were shitfaced and decide to smoke. otherwise, i don't touch them.

i'll also smoke a cigar sometimes

 

you should take up knitting....that will give your hands something productive to do

Yes. I was a dumbass kid and started smoking for the hell of it and before i knew it i was addicted and smoking a pack a day.

i smoked a pack a day for over 5 years and as of today its been 13 days since ive had a smoke

I'm on and off on cigarettes for 2 years now, i feeli i could stop anytime, but i have this great desire to smoke...:spliff:
