literally speaking, the mark was to be planted on the head or hand. some take this to be an ACTUAL mark, other's take it more symbolically to mean thoughts and actions. neither involve the foreskin.

Its supposed to be some mark in the forehead area, like a little red one or something to signify 'been through the fire that burns away the bad'. Eaten the fruit of knowledge (pyrus malus) and realized that the bad fire (knowledge) is Good (kids don't normally like their first sip of scotch or coffee). Ignorance being burned away can be painful, but it is a good thing.

Then recommended amputating and throwing away this 'Sinful' body part.

So now what does this make Calvary?

The fact that it involves cutting open babies genitals also makes it pretty muthafugging evil too.

The problem with the theory though....
The Practice of Circumcising girls is only practiced in a dozen or so countries (for hygeine reasons)
For boys its still common in the Middle East of course - but now almost only in the USA and some parts of Canada and is disappearing as a practice in those regions.

The Mark of the Beast would surely include more than just 2% (and declining) of the worlds population wouldnt it?
