City of God

I loved it. Its portugese with subtitles but dont let that turn you off of it.This movie is sad, beautiful, and just cool. Bitter-sweet. There is alot of violence but its pretty much an integral part of the story line which is based on the life of the narrator, there was one scene in particular which i found difficult to watch; if youve seen it you probably know which one i mean. Anyone seen it?

I think it's a great movie. Seen it twice.

 

Amazing movie man,i own the dvd.I love it when that guy crashed on that moped so funny.

I dont remeber the moped scene.. but i think im gonna watch it again sometime this weekend, its on ppv. The most insanely sad scene for me had to be when the kid named (I THINK) steaknfries had to choose which of the 2 other little guys to shoot. Oh my god that was harsh shit. And just before that when the one kids gets it in the foot, he looked younger than my daughter. wild

 

now. this is da kinda movie that renews my ole faith in the movie business.
