Something entirely boggles me... why people keep saying that we have to CHOOSE between environment and economy. What's the basis of the argument? How would we suddenly lose all these jobs? As far as I can tell, between R&D, marketing, _implementation_ from assembly to installation of new technology and elimination of old stuff, it'd seem like we could MAKE a lot of jobs in changing to more environmentally-friendly technology.
