    Salaam Aliekum

Dear brothers, I know one should be dressed modestly and in fresh clothes, but what about kufi's and dishdash's? Would it be consisdered "overdoing it" to wear a dishdash to the masjid on fridays? I only see 2 brothers wearing them and Im wondering if it is more of an arab dress and less of an islamic dress? Keep in mind, Im white! I think I would be the first white person to wear a dishdash ever. And with Kufi's, I know its sunnah to cover your hair, but could a regular baseball cap be considered sunnah? I mean there are soo many different head dresses from kufis to khuffiyas to turbans, what makes a "headdress" sunnah?

    Thx and salamz

Wa aleykumu salam, it wouldnt be seen as "overdoing it" by wearing clothes worn by muslims to friday prayer. But remember that there is no obligation to do it, and trust me brother, there are alot of "white dudes" wearing them these days : )

What makes a headdress sunnah? I don't know.

It is not clear to me if having Semen stains left on ones clothes while attending Mosque is appropriate or if Nine year old Aisha is simply saying she failed to get all the Semen off her Muhammeds clothes?

What is the proper teaching of having ones child bride wash or scrape your semen off your clothes before prayer?

Sulaiman bin Yasar narrated: “I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the clothes soiled with semen. She said: ‘I used to wash it off the garment of Allah’s Apostle (the blessing and peace of Allah be upon him) and he would go for the prayer with water spots still visible.’”[15]

Aisha said: In case you saw it (i.e. drop of semen), it would have served the purpose (of purifying the garment) if you had simply washed that spot; and in case you did not see it, it would have been enough to sprinkle water around it, for when I saw that on the garment of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), I simply scraped it off and he offered prayer, while putting that on.[16]

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: I used to wash the semen off the clothes of the Prophet (the blessing and peace of Allah be upon him) and even then I used to notice one or more spots on them.[17]

    Well, that's neat.
Makes sense, but I guess in the modern world
we need more reminders of how everybody is connected

muslimah is a female muslim, while a "muslim" is a male. Ever studied french? If im not mistaking they also use gender to describe nouns.
