I've been smoking for about the past year straight, with nothing but a day-or-two break every couple weeks or so. Thursday I leave the country for study abroad, and I don't want ANYthing on me. Its not likely I could even smoke it there, apparently the rooms there have sophisticated smoke detectors that can't be disabled without triggering an alarm, and they sense the faintest smoke. And it'd be sketch smoking outside. So the last time I'm smoking for 5 weeks is Thursday. I think I can handle it just fine, the last time I went sober though I had anxiety for a while. There's also a very good chance I'm going to Amsterdam during my time in Europe, and 1 weekend of Amsterdam should make up for 4+ weeks of sobriety right?
yep. well have fun, maybe you could go to the Dr. before the trip. tell him you're feelin kinda anxious about the trip and being there. you know, kinda stressed, being away and all that i'm sure he'll more than compensate for your marijuana use over that month have fun in the weed capital
Eh, its enjoyable. Its just that I'm surrounded by it here, lol. If I want to quit for a day a friend or 2 will still drop by with a blunt rolled.
When I was smoking I used to go "cold turkey" (if you want to call it that) every time I would run out of weed. These breaks would last from a week to months. Sure, I missed pot, but life goes on. I was fine. I quit smoking altogether 2 weeks ago and I guess you could call it cold turkey. I'm totally fine. Everyone's different though. Oh, but the brownies idea/anti-anxiety meds does sound good if you really feel it'll be a problem.
You're going to another country to study abroad. That's amazing. You don't even need weed, it will be amazing none the less! Don't smoke until you get back, enjoy the country you're going to.. and when you get back and smoke, you'll be high as shit!
^ no kidding. anxiety can happen. if your friends drop by you JUST SAY NO. i gotta quiut for a few weeks, etc.friends should respect that, and yo should have the willpower to resist.
I had to quit from heavy daily smoking and it really isn't that bad, the first few days can be a bit dull and i ended up smoking twice as many cigarettes but once youre over the hump its really not a big deal and you wont even think about it anymore
I'm actually near where you are right now, lol. I've also managed to get some weed, London bud is pretty good, cheers!
