I'm really nervus, I know I'm going to get lost but thats not a big deal, thats bound to happen first day. Another thing is well.. I don't know if this is really what I want to do with my life. I mean yeah money is wonderful but I've hardly explored life yet. Over the summer I did a little growing and exploring but not a whole bunch. I've grown up alot in the past 1-2 years.

I don't know if I'm ready for this. Maybe I'm just scared. I keep telling myself everything will be fine on monday I'll go, freak out a little bit, but in the end I'll be fine. But heres the second part ...

I'm going to school to become a Medical Assistant. We're goint to be sticking each other with needles later on down the road after practice. I don't feel very confident this is what I want to do but I have a very pushy mother. She wants me to do well but how can I do well when I'm not enjoying, or wanting what I'm doing.

I tried coming up with reasons why I want to go to school and do this..

    I want it because..

    *Brighter Future
    *Stablity
    *Career with many advances
    *Money

Well that was really it. I went and got my books and schedule today. Just depressed me and made me hate all the things I've come to love. Looked at my bong in a different way, and then I tried looking at skirts to get ideas for mine and it just seemed pointless. The little girl I watch started school today. Her first day of real school, she road on the bus and everything. Wasn't scared at all. That inspired me a bit, and the fact my friend hes over in iraq right now..

I told him I'm scared of college and asked him if he was scared of going. He said that he was at first.

the first day of college is scary. The first year there is scary. Even when you super sure about what you want to do. I always go and find my classes the day before school starts or at least the buildings. It makes things a lot less scary. And remember the experiance will be good for you, and will make you grow rather it works out the way your parents hope or not.

    Love,
    Gin

p.s make sure your doing it for you. You wont enjoy it if your doing it for someone else.

Ironically, the night-before-first-classes party is always the best one. It's fun to start the year hungover.

Lol, Well, I'm not worried about that, I'm going out with style, not exactly how I want due to the fact i can't find what I want around here but whatever. going to have a gathering around a fire with my friends and have a party saturday night. Get pretty stoned, wishing i were tripping. lol

I went and checked out my school yesterday. Its not so big but everything looks the same. I'm sure I wont be the only one getting lost. Thank you guys for your advice :)

Well, I hope you made it through the first days ok. :) I think you'll do fine in college. There's more freedom there than any other academic institution.

word, college shapes who you are as an individual. I start my last year of college. I have to figure out what I am doing with my life soon so that I'm not over whelmed when I graduate in the spring. Good luck!

Quit the weed for school. It's too tough to get through otherwise. My experience, anyways.

This is soo true. Last year we had a we of "new student orientation" before classes even started and it was the most fun I've had in a long, long time.
