I'll jump in and congratulate all the mature people in Colorado and Washington that had the common sense to see beyond the Governments hype and propaganda and legalize. Mass legalized for medical use as well..Peace..DD

Under one ounce, so personal stash only.
    What about person-to-person sales?

That would still be illegal, and irrelevant. If there's a store that sells weed who is going to be buying weed from anyone who isn't a cashier anymore.

Washington's bill also doesn't allow home growing. Colorado does, and weirdly allows you 6 plants at once, but only 3 can be mature at a given time.

Well, if I know that someone, private has X strain, and I happen to like it, I'd still go there.

Commercial markets breed craft taste markets constantly.

We DIY, cook, can, sew clothing, garden, shop farmers markets, make kombucha, etc, etc, because the commercial options are not to our tastes.
Not everyone wants six variations on diesel.

Sometimes you have a friendly relationship with the person you have been buying from for decades.
No store clerk is going to replace that.

What about price points? What will retail mark up look like? Who will go low quality for low price? Who will set themselves up as boutique?

What cites will continue to just say no? How will those decisions be made? City council? Counties? Elections? Carryover from the MMJ bans?

And having a location is a fed magnet.
Until this gets settled nationally, it will be a twilight area.

And six plants is ripped straight from the MMJ statute.

In Ca. right now for MMJ it's 15 plants, with no more than 6 mature.
sounds reasonable to me. The max for personal MMJ possession is a half pound I believe. 6 mature plants certainly could yield a lot more than 8 ounces.

3 decent fully mature plants would provide me with plenty of personal. If it's legal then that opens up growing outdoors and then you can grow monsters yielding pounds per plant. If growing indoors for personal use, 3 mature, 3 vegging sounds reasonable as well. If you keep on a constant rotation as most indoor growers do, do you really need more than 3 flowering plants at a time for personal use?

As far how it will be sold, again no real issues there considering the states in question are already MMJ states and already have the framework in place with dispensaries and stuff. Wouldn't be too difficult to revamp them a bit into shops like tobacco shops or state liquor stores. I already have to show ID and my medical recommendation each time I go to a dispensary, so I really don't see it being to difficult.
Will it be sold in gas stations and the supermarket?
Not right away, but most likely if the entire nation adopts legality it will be alongside alcohol. Until then it will most likely be handled as it is already with MMJ dispensaries.

    Here is my pondering question,
For those people in Wash and Co. that are already MMJ patients, will it being legal now mean that they can claim their cannabis as a legit medical expense or will insurance companies begin to cover it?

I personally doubt it, at least not yet.

    Oh, and concerning pricing.
So far I have paid LESS for BETTER quality at the dispensaries then I ever did black-market, no contest.

FYI there's a good chance the weed you're smoking already isn't organic unless you're growing it yourself.
