Hey folks! I just joined this nifty forum! I thought I'd introduce meself... I live in Austin, although I grew up in the Northeast States. I have my associates in business management, but once I started cocktailing and waitressing, I couldn't get away. I love the hours and cash in my pocket daily. I use that cash to get beer! I love beer. I love the different ways it can be made, the different casks it can be aged in, I love how a beer can taste like 10 different things at once. I prefer craft beer, or at the very least a kick-ass micro-brewed beer. And that folks, is really what most of my time is spent doing! You will see me chime in on anything to do with food and drink, funny pictures of cats, and random rants on ignorance.
Welcome to HIP! I have a friend of a few years who lives in Austin, after moving from San Francisco. I've never been to Texas myself, though (Nashville would be the closest).
