Can you imagine what comedy clubs would be like if weed were legal? I sit here, watching Friday Night Stand-Up on Comedy Central, thinking to myself, "man, if weed were legal, these guys would be a lot funnier" (even though I'm laughing my ass off to the last two guys, Daniel Tosh and Brian Regan. Some funny mo fos, haha). I think the comedy clubs would really make money off it, and comedians would have to be better to make it in the business. Alcohol makes bad comedy funny. In my experience, weed doesn't. It enhances the humor that is there, but doesn't make the bad stuff good. Alcohol just blurs everything to the point where a lot of stupid shit seems funny. Anyways, I like to think about how things would really be if weed were legal. Not pie-in-the-sky utopian stuff, but realisticly.
definetley feelin that especially if the comedy clubs sold it there. you could just kick back at a table with a coke and a blunt and chill and laugh ur ass off. and if u had friends who were high too there then when the suckass comedians got onstage you could just laugh at each other instead
Yeah, I was definitely thinking the clubs would sell it, like they do with booze. And the comedians would benefit too, because when the stoners stop laughing and start staring blankly, they'll know they need to throw out a good joke otherwise the place is gonna just be full of zoned out tokers, haha. It'd be good for everyone, cuz you know every stoner in town would hang out at the comedy clubs...so the clubs make money, the comedians get better, and the stoners get stoned. Ah, life in the future is good...
I want to try pursueing stand up comedy at least a few times in my life, i've been writting jokes lately . More so just observations of my shitty life but its gold. I need to carry around a damn tape recorder when am at work bitching about my life! Am not a big fan of alcohol and find it does not add to my evening nor make anything funnier for me... It just numbs my senses and personality. Weed on the other hand in comedy clubs would be great for everyone, it'd be so relaxing which is important on telling good jokes.
I think any kind of comedian would appear to be funny if the comedy club let you smoke dank during the show. That would be great though.....sit down watching a comedian while smoking your joint and sipping your Jack and Coke.
