Einstein's equation for dialation calculates the relative time with respect to a stationary observer. Whereas time would stop for object moving at c, nothing, not even light, can achieve the "speed of light", more specifically the limiting permeability and permittivity of free space. So yes, it is a moot point.
all of that is assuming of course, that the only reason we can't observe anything moving faster then the speed of light, isn't simply that it's moving faster then the speed of light! or taking some short cut we don't know about. =^^= .../\...
Yea.. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't hear or smell it going that fast... think about if you was on a roller coaster... you probably won't even smell it then. Gotta love those stoner questions... reminds me of the time when me and my brother were smoking and were trying to figured out why eleven and twelve are not "firstteen" and "secondteen" instead.
