That's what they used to have on the end of rifles to save on bullets........not conduct orchestras with.
no it wasnt to save on bullets, it was for when you ran out of bullets or were fighting too close to utilize a rifle.
I know, but I was still thinking that and yeah madcrappie is right, but now they are just used to look cool and make the Marines look really fuckin' awesome when they twirl their guns at air shows, parades, and stuff
