I feel i lack confidence and it bugs me. I am a final year university student. I know i am capable of doing well. I just tend to get distracted an disheartening when i waste time. YouTube and i know i can do well. But i tend to loose my confidence and i tend to eat. I started eating when my granddad passed away 3 years ago. I started to binge and still do. I have gotten over the fact he was a man who i loved and now left me. I just want to try and do what i know i can do. I don't feel confident when i know inside "You can do it". I tried to find books for an answer. OI tend to eat junk (Fast food) and put on more weight event though i am aware what it does to you. I want to have my confidence back and not feel lost at times. I am 21 and a male so i feel i shoudn't be this way.

    Input would be great

    Thank you

Exercise. It's so good for you on so many levels. Confidence being one of them.
Nothing like some movement to get your endorphins going. It'll help with mood, energy and ambition.

    Yes i agree exercise.

Then the 2nd is eating right.

You must eat as healthy as you can everyday you are breathing. Yes it is very hard, everyone who has tried knows this. You cannont let anything hold you down. You gotta try everyday. I'm sure you know to get away from the fastfood...dude that is shit..don't eat that, fuck, its probably draining you..seriously please stop eating that trash.

Now for exercise their are many ways. What i have learned, and that works best for me, and if you have a little money to spend on gear, its boxing.

Where i live we have no boxing gym of any sort, the gyms here are pretty womanized with tredmills, ellipticals, spinning bikes and such...so not for me.

So i had to get my own gear.

    80lb bag, $80 to $100
    gloves, $30

If you cant hang it somewhere inside during cold winters you will need the boxing stand as well. This can be noisy when you use it, so you might have to tell neighbor if close, that hey from this hour to that hour you will hear noise, fucking deal with it, im making life changes fucker. So the stand, that can be the most expensive part, mine is made from Everlast, as is my bag and gloves, the stand was just over $100.

Then turn on your music, and start hitting the bag.

You don't just start hitting the lag like the son of a bitch it is with all you got and try to release all of your bad emotions at once... You start by working on your form, and you keep focusing on your form, then the speed, and finally power will follow, then you realize that the bad feelings have been leaving all along.

It will tone your whole upper body dude. I mean everything, sholders, chest, abs, eye-hand coordination, you will get faster on your feet. Try it for 30 mins, its hard. Its great exercise for women to. You must eat healthy though, other wise some curves that the ladies love, might not be shown.

It will also give you new confidence out in public after the many months you have been working on how to hit something, and you know your own strengths and weaknesses.

Once you see results, which can take weeks, or even a few months, you will be hooked for life! You just have to wait out the rough spot, then you see results, then BAM you in it forever!!

Don't forget why you set out to reach goals. Otherwise you will find yourself starting over the rest of your life.

It's important that we learn to love ourselves in order to boost our confidence. There are several reasons why we lack confidence, instead of eating foods try to divert your attention to exercising and eating right.

    Hello

It looks like you've got a kind of post-traumatic stress disorder, which causes your eating problems. I've been the same way for a few times due to different stress disorders and I would advise you seeing a good psychotherapist to deal with the reasons of your eating disorder. Are you a religious person? You just need someone to help you overcome the major depressive events of your life and get back the love of yourself and others. I still advise you to see a psychotherapist but be careful while choosing one :)

You can feel that way at any age.

I tend to over indulge in alcohol and drink in private not a good thing.
