Connections I touch the earth And the earth touches me, And my inbreath is the outbreath of the world. As I stand upon the shore and touch the sea, The ocean touches all the shores, And thus do they touch me. And as I bend at the river to drink, I take in water that washed the throats of ancient things, back before the dinosaur breathed his first of the air that still floats around within my panting lungs giving voice to these gloats. For I am alive in the world wrapped up, mixed up, in every way we are one, her rhythms are mine and mine hers. Connections running deep, boundries decay and I am lost to her, and not in sadness do my edges begin to fray.
Very interesting, the rhythm of the piece is very much an example of its message, with each line seeming to attach to the next one. Well done!
