controversy Tell me where you stand! 1. Abortion – Pro choice 2. Capital punishment - Against 3. Physician-assisted suicide – Pro choice 4. Affirmative action – uhhh in terms of what? 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) All for it 6. Women in combat – If they want to 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) – Against 8. Immigration – For refugees, but some control is needed 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools – For it 10. Alcohol and the drinking age – 15 11. Legalization – you bet I’m for it 12. Spanking children - against 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) whhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? 14. Smoking bans – against – people should have the right to choose so long as they’re not harming others 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Yep one isn’t religious, I’m not for prayer in schools but silence in resepect for the dearth of our brothers and sisters, I’m for it 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money – don’t have that here, but against 17. Genetically engineered food - against 18. Embryonic stem cell research - for 19. Guns - against
1. Abortion well late term abortion does equal euthinasia. i would certainly rather have never come to know life in this world then if i were to have had to grow up as an unwanted child. at any rate i don't believe it is any bussiness of anyone but the mother. 2. Capital punishment capitol punisment is retroactive abortion. 3. Physician-assisted suicide do you want to live as a vegitable? 4. Affirmative action i think people are insane for it to be neccessary, but as long as vestid politics creates prejudice for it's own end the need for it remains very real 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) what anyone goes to bed with, where, when or how often, ain't no body's bussiness but their own. 6. Women in combat the fiercest fighters in any species are the women. men may fight to express anger. women go for the juglar! 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) does one species have some devine right to abuse another? i see no difference between some alien comming down here and vivasecting humans then for us as humans to subject any living organism to nonvoluntary risk. 8. Immigration there is no such thing as a free country with closed borders 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools sex is nature's reality, all the persicution and prostilatising in the world isn't going to chainge that. unwanted pregnancies can however be prevented. i think HONEST sex education should be a required subject. and not just condoms but something like norplant for the guys! 10. Alcohol and the drinking age i don't think age should be a factor in anything, but i also don't believe destructive behaviour should be encouraged at any age. 11. Legalization of what? another word for legalization is deregulation. i believe the private life of the individual IS over regulated and needs to be deregulated in many ways. 12. Spanking children iduced trauma is a ligitimate last resort 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) please elaborate the question! if you build a wooden house someone somewhere has to cut down a tree. the air you breathe, the part of it you need to live comes from plants of all kinds, including trees. a healthy invironment isn't about any one species but it is something we all depend upon. i believe less wood and wood products need to be used in all construction. 14. Smoking bans second hand smoke really does kill people. as does polution from automobiles, using combustion to produce energy, and from other industrial sources. no one has a moral right to put anyone else nonvoluntarily at risk. of anything. period. so i'm all for banning smoking from anyplace anyone HAS to be, like at work. no one has to be in a boozorium however, where they are already putting themselves at voluntary risk to be there. i think smoking is dumb but i do think people who insist upon it should be allowed as many places as they can where doing so does not put others at nonvoluntary risk 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? there is a very big difference. a led prayer is an imposition of one particular belief. the practice of group prayer is actualy ligitimately against many ligitimate real organized beliefs with large fallowings. i don't think there should be any objection to anyone saying them. the objection is the imposition of one person's belief upon others. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money pledge your own pledge and wipe your you know what with money. 17. Genetically engineered food it wouldn't have been such a bad idea on general principals, but it has become a kind of legalized economic tyranny imposed on agriculture, and that is just plain wrong. 18. Embryonic stem cell research it is illogical that this should even be a controversy or opposed. my only scepticism is like with gm food, what corporate capitol interests might do with the resaults. this research as i think most people know by now is the best real hope for solving the puzzle of degenerative brain disseases. a lot of us arn't getting any younger and i'm all for research on general principals 19. Guns what about them. their only purpose is to kill, injur or make ragged holes in things. i certainly think people should be allowed to arm themselves, but with tecnologies that make it possible to ask questions later. a gun in the hands of anyone without specialized training in a panikey situation is unlikely to allow questions to be asked of its victum. allso more people die and are injured by guns who own them then do not. but rather then selectively banning lethal force it would make far more sense to me simply to not mass produce them in the first place. if there weren't guns in circulation, outlaws couldn't very well get their hands on something that didn't exist. 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here. most of what is really important hasn't been listed here at all. almost nothing that is has. or it lest not other then obliquely and in the misleading manor of things that get politicised. we need transportation and energy that is not produced by combustion, we need to build and live in ways that do not threaten the natural cycles of renewal upon which all living organisms including our own seves utterly depend. and we need to put something in the drinking water to lower all human fertility accross the board. we need to stop living in square houses and we need to stop trying to outdo each other by how loudly we can immitate each other. we need culturaly and universaly to boycott aggressiveness and especialy the billigerance of fanatacism and we need to permit ourselves and encourage each other to permit ourselves, to enjoy the exercize of whatever intillectual and or creative capacities we happen to have. i have a very long laundry list of what is much more important then what has become popularly focused on as contraversy. we need in our personal priorities to avoid those which collectively create the incentives and markets for war and economic exploitation. we need to objectively examine, research and revise policies, nationaly, localy AND personaly, and not expect doing so on one scale take the place of the need to do so on all others. =^^= .../\...
1. Abortion I am against the practice of abortion, but pro-choice because I feel the result of illegalizing abortion would be even worse. 2. Capital punishment Pro-capital punishment in extreme cases, and with overwhelming evidence of the person's guilt. I am against it otherwise. 3. Physician-assisted suicide I am in favor of physician-assisted suicide. 4. Affirmative action 100% against Affirmative Action. 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) What people do behind closed doors is their business, not mine. 6. Women in combat I am against all unnecessary war. Period. 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) Against. 8. Immigration Pro-immigration/anti-open borders. 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools Against. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age 18. 11. Legalization 100% pro-legalization of ALL drugs. 12. Spanking children It's the parents' choice, though I feel there are better ways to discipline children. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) ??? 14. Smoking bans I am against smoking bans for bars, though I am a non-smoker myself. But, when I am eating at a restaurant, I would rather not be exposed to cigarette smoke as I find it to be absolutely repulsive and disgusting. So, my feelings are a bit mixed on this issue. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Yes, there is a difference. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money Don't care. It's irrelevant. 17. Genetically engineered food Against. 18. Embryonic stem cell research Pro-stem cell research 19. Guns I am pro-2nd amendment and completely against all gun control. 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here. No.
hahah.. *is a nerdy wildlife major* To clear things up: The spotted owl is an endangered species in northern california that builds its nest in redwood trees. much of their habitat is being destroyed by logging companies around here. their habitat is also being intruded on by an eastern species of owl called the Barred Owl. hope this helps.. controversy Tell me where you stand! 1. 1. Abortion A woman has the right to choose and that I will always support, but I don't see how they ever could, so personally against it. 2. Capital punishment Support it 3. Physician-assisted suicide Well I don't think suicide is the answer, but if people wanna die, help them. 4. Affirmative action It's just reverse discrimination. 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) Against gay marriage, nothing against the people though. 6. Women in combat In a draft no, but if its volunteer and they wanna go, well I think they should be allowed to. 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) Well it needs to be tested before it goes on the market, but I think they should look to find more people willing to try for money. 8. Immigration Legal immigrants are ok, but illegal people crossing the border have no right here. 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools Schools should give out condoms and stop living in denial that students ain't going to have sex. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age Should be 18 11. Legalization Depends of what drug you talk about. 12. Spanking children Wrong, always wrong. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) Neither, you gotta find a balance between the 2. 14. Smoking bans Stupid, especialy for bars, when people drink in a bar with friends, they want to smoke too. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? No, no one is silent anyways in the moment of silence. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money They've been there for so long, does it really bother you as long as the money is still good? 17. Genetically engineered food I'd rather eat weird modified food then starve. 18. Embryonic stem cell research It seems wrong morally, but to much can come from it to not allow it 19. Guns Read 2nd Amendment 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here. Everyone should eat pancakes.
I copied & pasted this survey from another web-site...just thought it would be interesting to see how we all answered it. controversy Tell me where you stand! 1. Abortion - pro choice 2. Capital punishment - highly against 3. Physician-assisted suicide - for it 4. Affirmative action - against it, eoe should be enough 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) - fine by me 6. Women in combat - against it, along with men though 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) - against it 8. Immigration - for it with limitations 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools - for it 10. Alcohol and the drinking age - should gradually be brought down to the levels that it is at in Europe and hence change how it is treated in respected in US culture 11. Legalization - 100% for it and that includes all drugs 12. Spanking children - against 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) I guess I go with the owl, not sure what your looking for 14. Smoking bans - it should be controlled, perhaps smoking lounges 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? - against it 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money - against it 17. Genetically engineered food - against it 18. Embryonic stem cell research - for it 19. Guns - believe hand guns should be outlawed 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here.[/QUOTE] Healthcare is a right, not a priviledge. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs)-against 8. Immigration- for 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools- for 10. Alcohol and the drinking age-21 as is 11. Legalization- against 12. Spanking children- last resort and not abused 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate)-spotted owl 14. Smoking bans- i agree on them 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference?-against 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money-against 17. Genetically engineered food-against 18. Embryonic stem cell research-for 19. Guns-against
1. Abortion Pro Choise. 2. Capital punishment Pro, mostly depending on the case. 3. Physician-assisted suicide Pro. 4. Affirmative action Completely against. 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) Not my buisness, you do what you want to do. 6. Women in combat If combat is a must than sex makes no difference. 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) Against. 8. Immigration Pro. 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools Pro. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age 18 should be it. 11. Legalization Pro for all drugs. 12. Spanking children Against. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) Ehh? 14. Smoking bans Against. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Yes, religion and education should be separated. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money Niether, remove "God" from Pledge and currency. 17. Genetically engineered food Completely pro, it's the future. 18. Embryonic stem cell research Pro. 19. Guns Mixed feelings, I'm for stronger background checks before selling bullets or guns.
1. Abortion I'm pro-choice 2. Capital punishment I'm against it 3. Physician-assisted suicide Unsure... I can see it if the person is able to give their consent in such a way that no one can doubt they wanted to do it. But if they can't clearly give their consent, then I can see why people would see it as questionable. 4. Affirmative action I think it's good... but it shouldn't get to take over people hiring people who are qualified instead of simply being a minority. I like it because it gives people a chance, but still... people need to be qualified to do their jobs. 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) Love it. Seriously. I'm straight, but I think homosexuality is awesome. More power to 'em. Gay marriage? Bring it on. If two people love eachother, they should be allowed to get married. Gay, straight, or in between. Humans are humans. 6. Women in combat Not THIS woman, but if there's chicas out there who want to do it, then who am I to stop them? 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) Not a big fan, but I can see why some people feel it is a necessity. Cosmetics though, they really don't need to be tested on animals. Body Shop sells cosmetics that aren't tested on animals and they're one of the best line going. Drugs, I guess that's a little different. Although I dont' see why they can't test drugs on people who are on Death Row or something instead. 8. Immigration Again, I love it. Without immigration, we wouldn't have the diversity we have now. Diversity is amazing and should be celebrated. 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools Huge necessity. Telling kids "just don't" isn't going to work. I'd rather have kids having protected sex, because they're informed (and yes condoms should be available in schools) than having kids get pregnant or STDs just because people are afraid of sex. People never used to talk openly about sex, and stuff happened then, too. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age I definitely see a need for a drinking age, yes. But I do agree that age doesn't always create maturity. People who insist on drinking underage should take extra care to do it responsibly and maturely... maybe it will help break down the stereotype of young, stupid kids who drink. 11. Legalization Marijuana should definitely be legalized. If they're going to sell alcohol and cigarettes, which are WAY worse for the body, then they should sell marijuana too. It has a ton of good side effects for health. 12. Spanking children Sometimes it needs to be done, but it shouldn't be done in the heat of the moment, in a way that is abusive, or all the time. Each kid is different. Some learn from time out, some learn from "no tv" and some learn from spanking. But parents who spank their kids with things, like paddles, or shoes, or frying pans or what have you, that's not right. That's abuse. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) What? 14. Smoking bans I'm for it... I hate cigarette smoke, I really do. Blech. I don't want to die because of someone else's addiction. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Call it a moment of silence. If you want to use it to pray, go for it. If you want to use it to pick your butt, go for it. But don't force prayer on people, that's not polite. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money This doens't really apply to me as a Canadian, so I"m gonna stay out of this one. 17. Genetically engineered food I think it's gross, but I know it's out there... and in a lot of foods I love. I think it should be clearly labelled on the food, so at least you can make an informed decision. 18. Embryonic stem cell research I'm for it, 100%. 19. Guns Guns are bad, dangerous, and promote violence. They're horrible.
1. Abortion - pro choice 2. Capital punishment - disagree 3. Physician-assisted suicide - i don't think anyone should have to live if there's no hope for them and they want to stop suffering. 4. Affirmative action - 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) - oh so very pro 6. Women in combat - sure if they want to 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) - obviously against, it's not fair for us to play god like that and subject them to torture 8. Immigration - pro. as long as there's some screening process it's all good. 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools - definitely 10. Alcohol and the drinking age - i have no problem with canada's age of 19, i think the states should lower their though, people who drink rarely wait until they're 21. 11. Legalization - of what? 12. Spanking children - physical punishment of any kind is a no-no. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) 14. Smoking bans - i think it sucks, but i'm a smoker so i'm biased. i'm sure if i didn't smoke or was trying to quit i'd be VERY thankful of the laws. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? - moment of silence is okay because you can use that time to pray to any god you might believe in. or just take the time to be in the moment and reflect. prayer i disagree with, i wouldn't want to be subjected to that in school, i have a bad enough attitude without... 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money - we don't have that on ours 17. Genetically engineered food - bad bad bad! organic all the way, i don't someone fucking with stuff i unwittingly put in my body 18. Embryonic stem cell research - i'm a little sketchy on the whole cloning thing, i don't think this world is ready for that. 19. Guns - shouldn't exist 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here. - i'm disappointed with the lack of venues in my town that allow amateur talent a chance to perform. being restricted to school talent shows is lame.
1. Abortion Pro-choice--You want the kid so bad, YOU go through 36 hours of labor. 2. Capital punishment Against, in almost every case. 3. Physician-assisted suicide Pro 4. Affirmative action Mixed...although I'd probably have to say against, since repeatedly making yourself into a victim by demanding special treatment won't solve anything. 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) Not my business. 6. Women in combat Against. Men are physically stronger, you can't deny biology. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) Against, except for vitally important medical research, such as cancer and AIDS. 8. Immigration Pro. I support Bush's proposal of working visas. 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools Pro. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age It should be 18. 11. Legalization Against, with hard drugs. With pot, it makes sense, but I hate potheads too much to make it legal. 12. Spanking children Against. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) Spotted owl (if we are indeed harming their habitat, I don't know too much about the issue. 14. Smoking bans Agianst. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Moment of silence okay, no prayer though. You can pray silently. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money Couldn't care less. 17. Genetically engineered food Pro, since there's really no stopping it. 18. Embryonic stem cell research Pro, strongly. 19. Guns Keep and enforce the laws we already have. 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here. What pisses me off most about America is that when something like the issue of "god" being taken out of the pledge, or gay people being allowed to marry comes up, everyone freaks out. But the fact that 3,000 children die every day from TREATABLE illnesses doesn't seem to phase anyone...Europe, here I come!
1. Abortion – Pro choice 2. Capital punishment - Against 3. Physician-assisted suicide – Pro choice 4. Affirmative action – against 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) All for it 6. Women in combat – If they want to 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) – Against 8. Immigration – For refugees, but some control is needed 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools – For it 10. Alcohol and the drinking age – 18 11. Legalization – you bet I’m for it 12. Spanking children - against 13. Spotted owl or logger? spotted owl 14. Smoking bans –for- not in public...and not to be done if you have a child 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Yep one isn’t religious, I’m not for prayer in schools but silence in resepect for the dearth of our brothers and sisters, I’m for it 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money – i dont care either way 17. Genetically engineered food - against 18. Embryonic stem cell research - for 19. Guns - in between
1. Abortion Pro-CHOICE (not pro-abortion, is anyone pro-abortion?? come on) 2. Capital punishment Against 3. Physician-assisted suicide For 4. Affirmative action Against 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) For (if two people truely love eachother, why not? I mean we need all the successful marriages we can get with a divorce rate at 60%!) 6. Women in combat For (but never for a draft, only by choice) 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) Against 8. Immigration For (but limit it) 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools For (cuz kids are gonna do it anyway, better off being educated) 10. Alcohol and the drinking age Lowering it to 18 (you can die for your country, smoke cigarettes, vote, but not drink? Come on) 11. Legalization For 12. Spanking children Against (it's a poor method of punishing a child, in our society, we can come up with something a little better and more humane) 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) Spotted owl, the logger can find a different job...maybe give them a job at the foresty service or DNR to protect the species. 14. Smoking bans Against (people should have the right to smoke where they want...and this is coming from a non-smoker) 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? Moments of silence are fine...gives people the chance to reflect in their own way. Praying in school is wrong...not everyone prays to a god. Why should we make children do what they may not believe in. 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money Take it off. This nation was based on the concept of getting away from religious persecution in Europe. Why should we do the same to others. Some may not believe in God... 17. Genetically engineered food I don't think we should do it, but if we do, then we should force the FDA to label food that is GEF, so people like me know that and can choose other products...gee, I wonder if someone's getting paid off for that. 18. Embryonic stem cell research Not sure 19. Guns Only if you take a gun-safety course.
controversy Tell me where you stand! 1. Abortion it would be terribly WRONG for me but i am defiantly pro-choice altho im not pro-abortion or pro-partial birth abortion! 2. Capital punishment too many innocents get executed. im mostly against it except in rare cases, for which i think the standards need to be re-evaluated and increased 3. Physician-assisted suicide hey, if a pet is in a lot of pain...they get put to sleep... 4. Affirmative action it's defiantly a good thing! it can be abused though but the idea is great in theory 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) all for it! love is love. period. 6. Women in combat hah...if they wanna do it, let them. 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) for cosmetics- hell no! for cures to cancer, aids, etc.- hell yes! 8. Immigration im for it pretty much but i dont feel like going into it 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools duh. abstinence only ed. does NOT work. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age if an 18 yr. old is old enuf to go to war for the country...let them drink. 11. Legalization for it! 12. Spanking children im not for it at all. i think it's wrong. 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) if i get the ques. right, im for the owl 14. Smoking bans no one wants to get cancer from second hand smoke. im a smoker but i still feel that way. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? let it be a moment of silence and let the students use it however they want 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money nope! sorry...seperation of church and state 17. Genetically engineered food i think it's bullshit.... very unnatural 18. Embryonic stem cell research for it!!! it's one of the best things ever 19. Guns im not for gun control but i am for strict laws for gun crimes 20. Talk about something important to you that isn't listed here. i dont feel like it
1. Abortion - Pro Choice 2. Capital punishment - against it 3. Physician-assisted suicide - All for it... I'm sorry but I would rather die having lived than keep on existing to merely exist. 4. Affirmative action - In it's current form, nay... but I see some logic in some aspects of it, but those are small compared to all the problems. So I'm wishy on that one. 5. Homosexuality (including gay marriage) - I could honestly give a shite. Love between a man and a man or a woman and a woman can be just as beautiful and sacred as love between a man and a woman. 6. Women in combat - Is this even that big an issue anymore? I'm all for it if they want to. 7. Animal testing (including cosmetics and drugs) - Cosmetics? Hell no, but certain drugs I see the logic. If such a product can save lives, but might have side effects, I'd rather lose a monkey than a man.... sorry monkey friends, I love ya, but my own people have top priority. 8. Immigration - For, but obviously with limitations 9. Sex ed, including condoms in schools - More than for it. Honestly, why are we getting rosey cheeked about these subjects? Kids' are gonna get their freak on, let's show them how to do it safely and properly. Let's not look at sex with shameful eyes, and let's give a guiding hand for when the kids do the innevetable. 10. Alcohol and the drinking age - Drinking age should be 18, no dobut about that. 21 just makes no sense.... as for alchohol, ya I'm fine with it. It can and is used fairly properly... I do however would like to see a drop in the moronic campaigning and the view of it as an "acceptable, safe, and fun drug" It's a horrible drug, it shouldn't have higher prestige than it's safer counterparts. 11. Legalization - pot, prostitution, various herbal supplements, and certain psychadelics. Honestly, people will do it no matter what, legal or not. The choices consenting adults make are their own. That and we'd clear up so much legal congestion and prison systems, as well as cleaning up industries that are forced to be run by shady individuals with a ton of bastardization because slinging a substance or desiring sex is something we see as "needs to be done under the radar" Let's get the prostitutes working in safe, dignified positions with decent wages and proper management. Let's legitimize certain drugs so we dont' have to deal with shady dealings and shady dealers. However this brings about the threat of the bastardization and overconsumption of a product/service due to our media and greed as a society. I'd hate to see Phillip Morriss selling individually cut bags of grass at the gas station. A growing permit for the herbs, marijuana, and psychadelics would be the best way to go about it in my opinion. 12. Spanking children - Hell no, what kind of a fool does that this day in age anyway? 13. Spotted owl or logger? (Please elaborate) - Hmm, well I"m guessing this is just an offshoot of Nature vs. current development procedures. If we could divert the job flow from these industries with dead end futures to industries that develop by method of proper take and proper replenishing, then I think we could say logger AND spotted owl. 14. Smoking bans - People smoke, let them do it in a warm area, well in a designated area at that too. 15. Prayer or moment of silence in schools. Is there a difference? - yup 16. "Under God" in the Pledge, or "In God We Trust" on money - Well it sucks, but if we got rid of it the christians would be up in arms screamin' "commie" and "pinko" 17. Genetically engineered food - na doo 18. Embryonic stem cell research - WHy is this even a debate, honestly... they'll be in the trash anyway. Anyone who opposes stem cell research just bugs me, somethign about opposing that shows a major flaw in logic. 19. Guns - why not.
