well late term abortion does equal euthinasia. i would certainly rather have never come to know life in this world then if i were to have had to grow up as an unwanted child. at any rate i don't believe it is any bussiness of anyone but the mother.

2. Capital punishment

capitol punisment is retroactive abortion.

3. Physician-assisted suicide

do you want to live as a vegitable?

i think people are insane for it to be neccessary, but as long as vestid politics creates prejudice for it's own end the need for it remains very real

what anyone goes to bed with, where, when or how often, ain't no body's bussiness but their own.

sex is nature's reality, all the persicution and prostilatising in the world isn't going to chainge that. unwanted pregnancies can however be prevented. i think HONEST sex education should be a required subject. and not just condoms but something like norplant for the guys!

i don't think age should be a factor in anything, but i also don't believe destructive behaviour should be encouraged at any age.

of what? another word for legalization is deregulation. i believe the private life of the individual IS over regulated and needs to be deregulated in many ways.

please elaborate the question! if you build a wooden house someone somewhere has to cut down a tree. the air you breathe, the part of it you need to live comes from plants of all kinds, including trees. a healthy invironment isn't about any one species but it is something we all depend upon. i believe less wood and wood products need to be used in all construction.

second hand smoke really does kill people. as does polution from automobiles, using combustion to produce energy, and from other industrial sources. no one has
a moral right to put anyone else nonvoluntarily at risk.
of anything. period. so i'm all for banning smoking from
anyplace anyone HAS to be, like at work. no one has to be
in a boozorium however, where they are already putting
themselves at voluntary risk to be there. i think smoking
is dumb but i do think people who insist upon it should be
allowed as many places as they can where doing so does not
put others at nonvoluntary risk

there is a very big difference. a led prayer is an imposition of one particular belief. the practice of group
prayer is actualy ligitimately against many ligitimate real
organized beliefs with large fallowings.

i don't think there should be any objection to anyone saying them. the objection is the imposition of one person's belief upon others.

pledge your own pledge and wipe your you know what with money.

it wouldn't have been such a bad idea on general principals, but it has become a kind of legalized economic tyranny imposed on agriculture, and that is just plain wrong.

it is illogical that this should even be a controversy or opposed. my only scepticism is like with gm food, what corporate capitol interests might do with the resaults. this research as i think most people know by now is the best real hope for solving the puzzle of degenerative brain disseases. a lot of us arn't getting any younger and i'm all for research on general principals

what about them. their only purpose is to kill, injur or make ragged holes in things. i certainly think people should be allowed to arm themselves, but with tecnologies that make it possible to ask questions later. a gun in the hands of anyone without specialized training in a panikey situation is unlikely to allow questions to be asked of its victum. allso more people die and are injured by guns who own them then do not. but rather then selectively banning lethal force it would make far more sense to me simply to not mass produce them in the first place. if there weren't guns in circulation, outlaws couldn't very well get their hands on something that didn't exist.

most of what is really important hasn't been listed here at all. almost nothing that is has. or it lest not other then obliquely and in the misleading manor of things that get politicised.

we need transportation and energy that is not produced by combustion, we need to build and live in ways that do not threaten the natural cycles of renewal upon which all living organisms including our own seves utterly depend. and we need to put something in the drinking water to lower all human fertility accross the board. we need to stop living in square houses and we need to stop trying to outdo each other by how loudly we can immitate each other. we need culturaly and universaly to boycott aggressiveness and especialy the billigerance of fanatacism and we need to permit ourselves and encourage each other to permit ourselves, to enjoy the exercize of whatever intillectual and or creative capacities we happen to have.

i have a very long laundry list of what is much more important then what has become popularly focused on as contraversy. we need in our personal priorities to avoid those which collectively create the incentives and markets for war and economic exploitation. we need to objectively examine, research and revise policies, nationaly, localy AND personaly, and not expect doing so on one scale take the place of the need to do so on all others.

To clear things up: The spotted owl is an endangered species in northern california that builds its nest in redwood trees. much of their habitat is being destroyed by logging companies around here. their habitat is also being intruded on by an eastern species of owl called the Barred Owl. hope this helps..

Unsure... I can see it if the person is able to give their consent in such a way that no one can doubt they wanted to do it. But if they can't clearly give their consent, then I can see why people would see it as questionable.

I think it's good... but it shouldn't get to take over people hiring people who are qualified instead of simply being a minority. I like it because it gives people a chance, but still... people need to be qualified to do their jobs.

Love it. Seriously. I'm straight, but I think homosexuality is awesome. More power to 'em. Gay marriage? Bring it on. If two people love eachother, they should be allowed to get married. Gay, straight, or in between. Humans are humans.

Not THIS woman, but if there's chicas out there who want to do it, then who am I to stop them?

Not a big fan, but I can see why some people feel it is a necessity. Cosmetics though, they really don't need to be tested on animals. Body Shop sells cosmetics that aren't tested on animals and they're one of the best line going. Drugs, I guess that's a little different. Although I dont' see why they can't test drugs on people who are on Death Row or something instead.

Again, I love it. Without immigration, we wouldn't have the diversity we have now. Diversity is amazing and should be celebrated.

Huge necessity. Telling kids "just don't" isn't going to work. I'd rather have kids having protected sex, because they're informed (and yes condoms should be available in schools) than having kids get pregnant or STDs just because people are afraid of sex. People never used to talk openly about sex, and stuff happened then, too.

I definitely see a need for a drinking age, yes. But I do agree that age doesn't always create maturity. People who insist on drinking underage should take extra care to do it responsibly and maturely... maybe it will help break down the stereotype of young, stupid kids who drink.

Marijuana should definitely be legalized. If they're going to sell alcohol and cigarettes, which are WAY worse for the body, then they should sell marijuana too. It has a ton of good side effects for health.

12. Spanking children
Sometimes it needs to be done, but it shouldn't be done in the heat of the moment, in a way that is abusive, or all the time. Each kid is different. Some learn from time out, some learn from "no tv" and some learn from spanking. But parents who spank their kids with things, like paddles, or shoes, or frying pans or what have you, that's not right. That's abuse.

What pisses me off most about America is that when something like the issue of "god" being taken out of the pledge, or gay people being allowed to marry comes up, everyone freaks out. But the fact that 3,000 children die every day from TREATABLE illnesses doesn't seem to phase anyone...Europe, here I come!

I do however would like to see a drop in the moronic campaigning and the view of it as an "acceptable, safe, and fun drug" It's a horrible drug, it shouldn't have higher prestige than it's safer counterparts.

11. Legalization - pot, prostitution, various herbal supplements, and certain psychadelics. Honestly, people will do it no matter what, legal or not. The choices consenting adults make are their own. That and we'd clear up so much legal congestion and prison systems, as well as cleaning up industries that are forced to be run by shady individuals with a ton of bastardization because slinging a substance or desiring sex is something we see as "needs to be done under the radar" Let's get the prostitutes working in safe, dignified positions with decent wages and proper management. Let's legitimize certain drugs so we dont' have to deal with shady dealings and shady dealers. However this brings about the threat of the bastardization and overconsumption of a product/service due to our media and greed as a society. I'd hate to see Phillip Morriss selling individually cut bags of grass at the gas station. A growing permit for the herbs, marijuana, and psychadelics would be the best way to go about it in my opinion.
