How did i know some teenager would ask that question? Those jokes aren't even that funny anymore. They're so 2006. and furthermore Gary Busey and Peyton Manning are notorious for calling their own plays. Hell Peyton plays by his own rules. He is his own coach and offensive coordinator. Busey makes up half his lines. I'm not even talking about the characters they play on screen, I'm talking about the character's they play in real life. When I made the list i was trying to gather a list of people who had a james bondmeets james dean meets hunter thompson quality to them and furthermore figure out what is cool. Is it appealing to fat women to get them to eat a butter substitute. Is it smoking pot with your kid and dreaming of space travel? I suppose that it's up to the individual to decide what and who is cool. let's not ass blast me for my opinions. There are many other people i'd like to put on the list, but there was only room for 10. That's why i asked people to nominate their own candidates.

this coming from someone posting a list of the coolest person on earth and only using celebrities.. i find noone on your list even remotely "cool".. i know,, im so,, 2005..... coolest person on earth?? well maybe not the coolest but up there,,, how about gary hause?? now hes cool....
^ well i'm very glad you nominated him then. Some people are too cool to think celebrities are cool i guess. that seems to be a recurring feedback. I was just sort of interested to see what different people's perception of cool was.

samuel jackson was a hard assed drug addict before you came to know him as an actor. Ever noticed how he's sort of typecast as a badass. There's a reason for that. he lived it. Actually with the exception of duchovny and maybe colbert, i don't think any of the candidates fell into the "drama fag" (as you so eloquently put it) category in their younger days. Perhaps you would care to make a nomination to go with your complaint that my poll is so flawed.
