Movie stars, reporters (often a less intelligent lot), porn stars, B list celebrities, Hollywood wives... many, many, many have had botox injections, face lifts, and other kinds of cosmetic surgery. The whole world now sees images of people who aren't what they naturally would be without the surgery. Sometimes they seem sort of doll-like to me, with their plastic noses or implanted cheeks. What do you think? Can you think of any movie stars or celebrities who you think were made worse by cosmetic surgery? (like their nose looks unnatural now, or their lips are fish-like). What are your thoughts? Thank you in advance!
plastic is bullshit women have natural beauty thats part of being a woman, anything fake is a total eh to me. and yes im even against makeup women were made right in the first place. maybe not up stairs but def on the outside
Yeah. Sometimes it sort of seems like that steroids thing with athletes. A model or actress sees other women doing it, and feels she has to in order to compete. Acting is art though, unlike a sporting event. In fact, I read where a gifted, well known director was complaining that botox was causing his actresses to be unable to use their facial muscles to express themselves. So bizarre!
If it makes you feel better, go for it. Unless you're Michael Jackson. For the love of God, man, stop it.
It can look better for some, but for others its just stupid. I watched this program once where a girl paid thousands for plastic surgery so she could look like Carmen Electra. (sp?) Anyway it then showed her face after, and showed a picture of C.E. next to her, and she looked nothing like her anyway. That's sad, but for people who have had serious injuries to the face due to a car accident for example, i agree with it then. Also if your face is starting to age and you can afford it, nothing wrong with getting a facelift. One thing though, lipo suction is for fat lazy people who cant be bothered to diet. But thats not for this thread.
