If the situation was so bad, that you were about to starve, maybe marooned somewhere, or cast adrift with no food and all there was to eat was human flesh, would you eat it? could you?
yes you could but i don't think it would taste good. is there just like a dead body laying around? i don't think i would eat it unless it was fresh and i wouldn't kill somebody unless there was a good reason, like it was hitler or an evil clown or something
Holy shit, this has been a recent thought, which i even discussed with some people. I have to confess, i am really interested in tasting human flesh, cooked of course. This sounds crazy to most people, but i am not talking about killing someone and eating their bloody remains while jumping around like a savage, more of a donation or even maybe a sacrifice of a piece of flesh, like a impossible to save limb or so, which then could be turned into a tiny dish, for taste purposes. Just another experience i would like to try, and the way i imagine it, a delicious one.
like it says above my picture in my sig. i WILL survive, dont really give a fuck how. thats all there is to it. if i'm hungry and your weak, your beat, sorry. but seriously, i wont enjoy it, even with ms. dash
I also have a question for all the spiritual vegetarians who do not eat meat because its murder and because the animals have souls etc (sorry i am not up to date with less common faith oriented beliefs). Say for example, in the future it is possible to 'grow' meat, with no need for the chicken or the cow, we could just grow a chicken breast or a huge delicious ribcage on a huge petri dish, would you eat it? And if, for certain connoisseurs, brain, human steak or even extinct species meat such as dinosaur or even dodo could be grown with no obvious loss of life (of course still considering that everything is a cellular micro organism which does indeed get destroyed/changed in our stomach acid), how would you feel about that?
Well I'm vegetarian for many reasons(environmental, ethics, health, etc..) The main reason I started was because I wanted to follow a healthier diet and it kind of built up from there. The idea of having it in my body grosses me out. I reached the point where I don't even crave meat nor care if I ever eat it again. Growing meat just sounds absurd lol, and no I don't think I'd ever eat it.I can only imagine the process it would take to make that happen.
I guess it does, but there are companies and scientists making it happen. I'm sure it will come to mainstream attention soon enough... Now i am wondering, if grown meat picked up and became the new norm, if the government would make it illegal to kill animals since a humane alternative existed... Or sell the two products side by side... Or, just flat out neglect a revolutionary innovation simply because too much time and resources have been invested in today's epic fail of a economy/market.
If I was stranded high up in the Andes with nothing else to eat – NO I wouldn’t resort to cannibalism https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGUCefrh1UE Hotwater
Well considering how great of an impact raising animals has on the planet, it does seem more accommodating and humane. Will it contain the same amount of protein and whatnot? I think they would try to sell both at once and see how the consumers react. You know, see if they grow any extra limbs and whatnot.lol.I have a feeling most people would be against it, calling it unnatural but who knows, it could be the new best thing since sliced bread. I just can't fathom how meat can just be created in a lab. Are you talking like smells and feels the same? Seems like a tender idea (pun intended) *twirls mustache* I'm gonna have to read some articles on this.
^ Ok, now Imagine a genetic mutation, which would allow for regrowth of limbs/meat... Fucking hunger solved through eating each other. Lol im putting too much thought into this
Im a veghead and even if i was stranded i dont think i could eat any kind of flesh.... like Fuzz Acid Flowers said i cant even imagine it in my body..it grosses me out. Even if it got to where you could grow meat ive been without it for so long it just sounds nasty haha
Haha exactly. Not only that, but imagine eating meat after not having it for so long. I'd puke my brains out.
