I spent 10 days on the island of Krk in the end of June. Borrowed a trailor in a camping site in Baska which my mother-in-law had rented for the summer (she's Slovene). Nice place for swimming and slacking, although a bit too many tourists for my liking (didn't expect anything else). It was nice and quiet in the evenings though, when all the germans were inside watching football. If you went close to their trailors, you could hear them cursing out loud though... My favourite place in Croatia is still Rab I think. Or maybe Dubrovnik, which is nicer "to look at", but Rab felt very intimate and lovely when I was there (6 years ago). peace, -Pat
