Simon and Garfunkel are good for relaxing/going to sleep to. CSN are good for listening to during the day, when you aren't remotely sleepy. CSN is more enjoyable, generally, but I think it depends on one's mood.

S&G weren't in the byrds or the hollies. The Croz was kicked out of the byrds for being too wild and back then the Byrds were known for being wild and were the hottest thing around... so that kinda makes him... kick ass. I've said it before, he put a hole through his septum from the coke and still made it this far and only a liver transplant and short jailtime for coke/crack? Plus, he got Melissa Etheridge pregnant in 1995? (he was a sperm donor and she happened to get his sperm, as she and her partner wanted to have a child) and was busted for possesion of weed in New York last year. Neil Young and Stephen Stills played with Buffalo Springfield (as well as Dallas Taylor, CSN(Y)'s former drummer.

Stephen busted a guitar over Neil's head over arguments about who was going to sing what songs (Stephen couldn't stand Neil's voice/singing). Finnigan has been on Organ since... what, 72, 73, or 74? Neil left while doing Stills-Young Band with Stephen. Mike Finnigan is still on the B3 and David found out he had a son when he was getting his liver transplant. Now James Raymond (Croz's son) and Jeff Pevar got together with David and fromed CPR, after he had his liver transplant, etc. Their tour was fucking amazing last year. The lights are great, but nothing like Phish or the Allmans.

I say CSN(Y) all the way.

I can't choose. Neither is better, they're just different.

S&G only because some of CSN(Y) songs are too busy. If you took the best S&G song and put it up against CSN(Y)'s best song, CSN(Y) all the way!!! But if u look at each band as a whole and take the ratio of good songs to band songs, id have to go with S&G.
