Hi all, Returning from sabbatical, I suppose. I'm a fun chick living in CT, in my early 30's and still trying to find myself. Fortunately, I often have fun along the way. I am at a point where I will be ready to move in a few months and want to go somewhere with milder weather than New England, preferably near water, affordable, pretty, and fun. We'll see where I end up and I am certainly open to recommendations. I consider myself a free spirit, though like everyone else, I have baggage I am trying to work through. I'm working more on a healthy lifestyle and I'm feelin' pretty good. I look forward to meeting and greeting, peace. :afro:
Yes, it sucks to live here. Besides the miserable winters and the high taxes, there's a simple three-word reason: Governor Dannell Malloy. The only thing keeping me from leaving this state forever? Money.
Hi everyone - KL71, I hear you, that and indecisiveness have kept me here for so long. What area are you in, if you don't mind my asking? I've been lucky enough to find a few things I like about living here, but overall, my soul just doesn't feel at home (Cheesy, I know!). There should definitely be a best places thread. Hmmmm....
Thank you, dark suger. KL71 - ah, I lived there when I first moved to CT. Good times. Well, not really, ha.
Wow! You lived here? Well aren't you lucky? (Emphasis on Well...) The stadium in question isn't far from my house at all. If money ever comes my way, Bradley Airport is only about 20 miles away! Oh to dream!
