Ive just finished my first grow, a prety succesfull one too if i may say so myself. Ive got my AK48 curing in glass jars with lemon and lime zest and it smells pretty damn good. Is this a good idea or am i risking bud mould?

Mould happens in high humidity and poor ventilated areas...

I'd be more worried about 'adding water weight'. A lot of people get pissed when they find out one added 'citrus zest' to the jar...

I've done it to my persie when some idiot dries the sh*te outta it... But yeah it makes it smell yummy and makes it nice and soft... Just if you do it too long or too much zest it gets to wet and hard to smoke...

well kind of pointless now, as you said you've removed the lemon and lime from the jar. But just to put it out there, if it's adding "water weight" then the buds are soaking up the moisture. If this is happening in a jar, air-tight if your curing, then you can run a risk of getting mold. Not a HUGE risk, but still a risk. So IMO, its good you took those out of the jar, or jars.
