Currently In the process of deep cleaning.

Hi there folks.
Hope you're all well!!

Right now.. I have a towel on my head.. my head is stinging...
I have to go to climbing in an hour!! So must rinse sooon!!

So i made a mix up.

Some hot water..
Biocarbonate o Soda,
Peppermint oil,
Teatree Oil
Orange oil,
Lemon Juice..
Bit of ACV..


Quite the interesting smell!!

I can see those without ACV will be perfect for a quick spritz!!

My forehead is burning.. my skin must be sensitive!!

A lot fo them are so loose running my hands through will undo them,..

I'm going to re do them as required..
Well... do one or two this afternoon... some more tomorrow...

I'll see

Or I may just leave it all, section with a bead or two on those unruley bits and go to the sea!
(The beach is one minute away and the water is well... Stupidly clean!)

YUCK!

What a mess came oot.. :S ... Still wax in some tips and are still solid.. i'll tease them apart some more.

A lot at the back has gone doolally which im pleases about..
Even after the first wash they feel so much cleaner!

Yes they look like 'crap' but I like the difference already..
I'll post pics up after climbing.

Does orange oil have any use (besides it smelling good?)
And good luck with future cleanses. Guess you don't want to start over? It's all good.
Remember to never give up :]

 

The orange oil helps get rid of wax & other greasy bad stuff.

 

i dont think using orange oil helped me get rid of any wax tbh

yeah, theres no denying the smell, its so immense

 

orange oil disolves industrial adhewsives take glue tar caulk u name it
theres a cleanning product called dissolve it that is basicly orasnge oil wiytth maybe banana oil or something
its also used to clean jewlery silver gold coper anything tarnished
and should be good for disolving wax too
the pronblem is, we are just experimenting with it, without knowing how much to use to be effective
dissolve it is probly 50% oure orange oil thats industrial strengtrh solvent
what we were using is maybe 1 milionth the strength..a few drops to a gallon
some said it did the trick..others say it didnt
perhaps its just a matter of trying a stronger mix
15 drops of oil can only dissolve so much wax..probly just about a pea size ball
the more wax used the more oils needed to dissolve it all

 

i used quite a lot of orange oil drops and it did shit =]

i see your point about industrial sized quantities though

The back of my head is what some would call a fluffy pile o sh*t..
I don;t care though My hair is desperate to go into a fro again I think! But It wont happen..

The journey ahead of me shall certainly be interesting.
