same here, when I was 5 I didn't want to wear pants because 'I didn't want to be a boy' Now I only wear dresses whenever I can pull one off without a pantyhose (gosh I hate those!) Love dresses, though

Yeah, I didn't want to 'be a boy' as a kid, either. XD; But nowdays I actually frown opon the idea of dresses being for 'girls only'...I actually think they could look cute on anyone! Society is mean :< But i'll still enjoy my dresses anyways....:)

I only own a few dresses right now cuz we're kind of poor :) And some of them I need my mom's help getting on because they have zippers in the back...those are soo annoying! lol But they are both very pretty dresses though. :)

Currently i'm wearing an orange/brown plaided butten-up jumper dress with a little bow on top. :) It's soo cute, I absolutely love admiring it in the mirror^^

That's... some little kid.....*not sure how that fit's in with the topic...unless it's to.. flame it?.....o__O; please don't flame me for having a different opinion than you, if you don't like dresses, I shouldn't be picked on for it...thats not why I started this thread......*

Folks do that. Ignore them, or take your giggles where you can.
I pictured the kid with fairy wings, but whatever.

I used to wear the same dress everyday as a kid. I`d get up & put on a tshirt; then I`d throw on my dress & keep one of the buttons unbottoned. I loved that dress soooo much! & Now, I have a bunch of pretty sun dresses! That`s my favorite outfit.. sun dresses & bare feet. <3

It was turquoise & it had a bunch of these cute, random things on it. I forget what the dress had on it, but it was like pencils & it was just awesome. It went down to my knees & it had botton sleeve things ( I can`t really explain it any better than that ) & I would keep one sleeve unbottoned because I wanted to be a "lost girl" & never grow up! :) haha. It was really cute & I wish I still had it!

Imma fella, and yes, I LOVE dresses (but not wearing them)

The only thing teasier than a skirt or slutty boots is a nice light sundress.

I love dresses because they're low-maintainance. You would think, being "girly," that it would be the opposite, but its so freakin easy to wake up and slip a sundress over your head and sandals on your feet.

I hate winter. I have a 20 minute crisis every morning as I stare into my closet and try to figure out wtf to wear. It takes me like 10 minutes just to put on all the layers. I can't wait for summer when I can get away with wearing literally one item of clothing.

I love dresses too. I've worn them through winter, with thick tights and knits, but I can't wait to wear them with bare legs and sandals or heels in the evening. They're practical, flattering and attractive, all at the same time :)

I love dresses too... Wear them even in cold weather. My mom knitted me two dresses, a blue one, and a dark green one, and is currently working on a beige/dusty pink/white one, as a belated birthday gift. I can't wait for summer, though; dresses are basically my favourite thing to wear in summer, I have like probably ten dresses, and about as many skirts... Thrift stores rule:)

I have a closet full of sun dresses and long skirts, mostly handmade. I also remember being a kid and refusing to wear anything but dresses!

Amen sister! I still wear dresses in the winter, no temp is too cold for a midi, tights and cute wedge boots.

I'm very self-conscious about the wind and my ass, so I can't wear anything too short and fluid. Unfortunately I'm kind of a weird size so it takes a lot of looking to find the perfect lengths - either 4-6" above the knee or mid-calf for me. I've been stocking up on pencil dresses lately, they're my favorite :)

I love comfy summer dresses. I usually just wear jeans and a big t-shirt. I can't pull off dresses most of the time because my legs are pale and skinny and I hate shaving them.

  17. Yes! I love wearing dresses! Especially in the spring and summer!
I love beach dresses and flowy dresses. Especially dresses from gypsy rose.
    Does anyone shop there online?

I love dresses now and i used to never wear dresses at all... skirts neither...

But i have grown a liking to them.. but sometimes its hard to find dresses to fit because i have wide hips and sometimes that makes me look 2 or 3 times bigger than i actually am and i already have a little pudge..

But its hot here i live South Louisiana.. so summers and even spring weather is between 90s-100s F... so its really hot and i like to wear as little as possible without looking like a skank or something.. and i like cotton dresses and like sundresses.. they are light, comfortable, simple, and cute...
    same with skirts

I don't ever shop online because i have a wierd/ odd shaped body as my mom is kind of odd shaped tooo and its hard to find things to fit.. and my sizes are never the same.. some dresses i wear small, some dresses i wear medium and some dresses i wear large...

and i had a roommate that was teaching me to sew but im not there anymore..
i would realy like to get some patterns and stuff and try making some of my own dresses.. could be inexpensive and a good hobby also worthwhile to make something that i can wear and even i could make them for other people good gifts like for my mom... but i dont know hand sewing is time consuming and i dont have a machine

I have some nice dresses, tucked deeply in the corners of my basement vault..
Jk. In my closet in a garment bag.

They said I could only fit 3 dresses in their.

    GUESS WHO FIT FOUR.
